PRELIMINARY FIGHTS

Open Weight Fight
Caleb Houston vs Kris Peek

Kris Peek starts out with a tremendous haymaker, knocking Caleb Houston across the circle and down onto his back.  Unfortunately for Houston, he doesn't stand a chance as Peek rushes across the ring like a locomotive and jumps on him.  Peek delivers haymakers and hammerfists down onto Caleb's face until the man's face is a bloody and broken mess.  He pounds Houston until he goes limp and Peek is pulled off by the referee, holding his now broken wrists in pain.

Peek defeats Houston via knockout at 5:23.

Lightweight Divsion Fight
Carolyn Jones vs Shane "Dixie Dynamite" Sanders

Carolyn Jones startes out the match with a few heavy punches, looking to get her first win in the Circuit.  Shane Sanders is looking for blood and she quickly takes the shorter woman down, holding her in the mount while delivering a series of vicious fists straight down onto Carolyn's face.  Jones tries desperately to buck Sanders off, but the more experienced fighter takes the opportunity to grab her arm.  Shane immediately pulls Jones into a wrenching Kimura and the fight is stopped as Carolyn taps.

Sanders defeats Jones via submission at 8:45.

UNDERCARD

Heavyweight Division Fight
Gabriel Chance vs Osbourne Kilminster

Chance comes out with the first punch, then a missed takedown. Kilminster slips past his guard to nail a few straight left hands. Another left backs Chance up, only to see him land a wicked right hand, and he takes Kilminster down. Chance takes half-mount, and Kilminster eats a few punches with his arms trapped. Kilminster shakes free and returns to his feet. Chance lands a wild right hook, and a follow up catches Kilminster in the eye. Kilminster gets a brief respite and then answers with several hard punches and a kick. Kilminster misses with a left haymaker, and Chance dives in for a takedown. Kilminster sprawls and defends, landing a kick that drives Chance back.

Chance immediately shoots back in and Kilminster pulls guard. Chance works to pass with his legs as Kilminster holds on tight with his arms. Kilminster throws a few elbows on bottom, and Chance answers from top, Kilminster's head trapped against his ribs. Chance passes to half-mount, and then swings out to an arm-in guillotine, dropping and rolling to tighten the hold. Kilminster lasts the hold, escapes and stands back up. The pair trade wild shots before Chance shoots in again. Kilminster defends, but he is forced to his knees. Chance picks the ankle and eventually forces Kilminster onto his back. Kilminster scrambles and stands with 90 seconds remaining. This time Kilminster shoots in and works the fight to the floor. They stay there only briefly. Wild swings by both fighters rain down before Chance shoots in again, but Kilminster sprawls. Chance lands a double knee strike that catches Kilminster in the face, sending him down for the count.

Chance defeats Kilminster via knockout at 8:50.

Lightweight Division Fight
Karrin Ennis vs Ryann Hardy

The referee calls for the fight to begins and Ryann immediately shoots in on Ennis, looking for a quick takedown, but Ennis sprawls then elbows Hardy hard in the back of the head. As Hardy drops to her knees, Ennis grabs her by the back of the head, driving her knee square into Hardy's nose, causing blood to seep almost immediately. Ennis stalks the rising Hardy before kicking her in the ribs. As her foot connects, Hardy catches it. sweeping her other leg out from under her, sending Ennis crashing to the ground. Hardy takes the moment to attempt to tie up Ennis's legs, but it just isn't happening. Finally Hardy climbs into a mount and goes for a guillotine choke.

As she begins to lock it in, Ennis rolls Hardy onto her back and begins pounding her in the ribs until she breaks the hold. Hardy looks to lock Ennis into a full guard, but Ennis catches Hardy's arm, twisting it back into a kimura causing Hardy to scream out in pain. Ennis stands up, bringing Hardy to her feet before driving a knee into her gut followed by one to the face. Ennis lets go of Hardy's arm, allowing her to stagger back before delivering a savate kick to Hardy's chest, knocking the breath out of her and dropping her hard to the mat. As Hardy gets to her hands and knees, Ennis looks for a hard punt to the skull, but Ryann moves out of the way, clipping Ennis's leg out from under her.

Ryann takes the opportunity to grab Ennis's head and arm, looking for any kind of submission she can while trying not to think about the blood pouring from her nose and mouth. Karrin is trying to gain her wits about her as Ryann looks for an armbar or a kimura. Hardy stays mobile, moving quickly around Ennis's body, avoiding every grab attempt Karrin makes. Finally, either out of arrogance or desperation, Hardy ends up between Ennis's legs and that's all it would take before Ennis would capture Hardy's head between her knees, holding her in place as she tees off, driving hard left and rights into Ryann's face until she goes limp. As she falls to the mat, Ennis stands up victorious.

Ennis defeats Hardy via knockout at 9:23.

Heavyweight Division Fight
Gutter Rat vs John "Mad Dog" Murphy

Murphy lunges forward to strike first, but he is overenthusiastic and Gutter Rat merely steps to the side and knees him in the gut.  Rat then grabs Murphy by the head and lays a punch or two in his face before Murphy manages to start blocking his shots.  Rat lets go and pushes Murphy off of him.  He goes in for another kick to Murphy, but Mad Dog grabs his leg and hits the floor and throws Rat over him and face first to the ground.

Murphy is on his feet by the time Rat is still on one knee.  Murphy grabs Rat from behind and puts on a rear naked choke, trying to make the man pass out.  At first, it looks like it might work and that Murphy might get an early victory, but Rat won't pass out and eventually, even with Murphy's weight on him, manages to get back to his feet.  On his feet, it's easy for Rat to just slam his elbow into Murphy's gut and force him off his back.  Murphy lands on his feet though and tries to kick Rat in the side, but he is blocked.

Some time passes where the men try to get shots in on each other but struggle to hit anything directly, as both men constantly block or sidestep the other.  Finally, Murphy lands a shot and Rat stumbles back.  Mad Dog smiles, thinking that he has his window and lunges forward and tries to knee Gutter Rat, but it turns out Rat was just playing opossum.  Rat grabs Murphy by the leg, pushes him off of him and then charges and tackles him while he's stunned.  One on the ground he begins to pummel fists into Murphy's face.

Mad Dog eventually manages to put his arms up and block the oncoming blows, but not before Rat gets enough shots in to make Murphy's face visibly red and badly swollen.  Gutter Rat backs off as Murphy tries to recover and get back to his feet.  He isn't given the time though and Rat just backs up a couple steps, runs forward and kicks Murphy directly in the skull as he tries to get up, knocking him out.

Gutter Rat defeats Murphy via knockout at 8:20.

Heavyweight Division Fight
Shane Clemmens vs Spiral

"Ready?" the referee asks of Clemmens, who's bouncing lightly back and forth on his feet.  Turning, the ref motions across the ring to the opponent, Spiral.

"Ready?"

Spiral tilts his head and smashes his fists together.  The referee slices his hand through the air and yells "Fight!" Both men move toward the center of the circle as the referee backs away quickly.  Clemmens jumps forward with a punch, swinging through the air and missing as Spiral ducks and comes up underneath with an uppercut to the ribs.  Shane's face contorts as an audible pop echoes from his chest wall.  Ribs broken, Clemmens falls backward, favoring his left side heavily and struggling to take a breath.

Spiral moves in quickly, not hesitating to go in for the kill.  Clemmens is hurt bad.  He throws a clumsy right that tags Spiral in the side of the face, but it's weak and barely affects the other fighter.  Spiral grabs Clemmens by the head in a clinch and sends two sharp knees up into those broken ribs.  Shane grits his teeth from the pain, nearly collapsing on his weak knees but squirms away from the hold.  As he's moving backward, however, Spiral sends a right hook that lands hard just under Shane's left eye.  The Dirty Dog's legs wobble and give out, sending Clemmens hard to the ground.

Spiral jumps on top of Shane and begins to pummel his face, beating him with his bare knuckles and then with the butt of his hand.  Blood flies into the air and splatters across the mat until finally the referee moves in and waves the madman off.

Spiral defeats Clemmens via technical knockout at 10:11.

Open Weight Fight MATCH OF THE NIGHT
Annika Reizeger vs V

The bout begins with a head kick by Annika and is followed by a flurry of punches from V, none hitting their mark directly. V then shoots for a takedown and is momentarily successful. Annika is able to stand, whereupon V uses a series of strikes to secure another takedown. V moves to half guard and attempts a guillotine choke while pulling guard. The choke proves ineffective as Annika is able to escape and use her position to gain half guard control. In one of the most technically pleasing moments of the fight, V used an omoplata to sweep Annika and gain standing position. It is then that V delivers a hard right cross to a prone Annika.

The rest of the fight consists of a similar dynamic. V would strike and then attempt and secure a takedown, which ended up in a jockeying for position that leaves both fighters alternating between a dominating position and one of vulnerability. While shooting in for another takedown, Annika brings a knee up, driving it hard into V's head. Annika then kicks V's leg before dropping down and driving a hard forearm across V's nose. Annika finds herself in the mount position, taking the opportunity to rain down forearms and hard jabs, peppering V's face and head.

V finally blocks one of Annika's punches, using her own momentum to monkey flip her off of him and allow him to get to his feet. As Annika stands up, V kicks her in the gut, grabbing her by the head and delivering a flurry of muay thai knees to her face. V then pulls Annika in close, lifting her up and slamming her hard to the mat with a double leg takedown. V gains side control and begins unloading hard and calculated knees into Annika's ribs as she struggles to cover up. V goes for a mount on Annika, but she shoves him away long enough to ctach him in a full guard. V struggles to pass the guard, riaising up and trying to create some distance so he can deliver the potential knockout shot.

As the fight hits the fifteen minute mark, both competitors are fatigued, sore, and bloody. Annika finally gets her wits about her again, catching V as he moves towards her, leaping up and delivering a stiff knee to V's skull. As V's legs turn to jelly, Annika capitalizes, rushing him with a heavy barrage of jabs, forearms and kicks. The finale of this match would find itself almost out of nowhere as V rises to his feet and squares up with Annika, shooting in, only to be sidestepped as V turns around; he is met with a hard snapping roundhouse kick by Annika, knocking him out cold.

Reizeger defeats V via knockout at 16:18.

Lightweight Championship Match
Bronwen O'Connor vs Sinn

The fight begins with a couple jabs from each fighter, used to gauge the distance and speed of their opposition, but Sinn goes from there to immediately score a huge takedown. She quickly moves into full mount and the remainder of the next few moments is characterized by a relentless ground and pound from the top, either from the half guard of Bronwen or from the mount position. If anything, Bronwen demonstrates her resiliency as she withstands several minutes of strikes, lying on her back and unable to offer any offense of her own, and ends the onslaught with a well placed elbow to the side of Sinn's head.

The fight then continues with a jab from Bronwen and a subsequent takedown delivered to Bronwen. Bronwen is able to bring it back to standing. Unfortunately, that is her only moment of respite in the entire fight up to that point. Bronwen immediately shoots for the takedown now and gaines some help from Sinn as Sinn pulls Bronwen into her full guard. From there Bronwen moves to the mount and begins to deliver more strikes from the top position.

As Sinn bucked and was able to free herself from the mount, Bronwen worked side control and went for the kimura. Sinn shoved Bronwen away and when they both got back to their feet, Sinn caught Bronwen with an immediate head kick followed by a flush right cross from Sinn to set the tempo. Sinn landed another takedown, went for a leg lock and then gained mount. From there, Bronwen bucked and escaped to her feet. Sinn landed a leg kick and punch to the body which spurred Bronwen to start swinging for the fences, putting all of her power into each strike. Sinn was able to take advantage of the timing on some of Bronwen's miss hits and secured another takedown. For a short period of time after that, Sinn alternated from full guard to half guard, and finally mount. She delivered a series of punishing elbows and punches from the top. Finally, Bronwen escaped the mount only to get caught in an arm bar, twist out of that, and catch an up kick to the head.

The lightweight title fight continues with the same breakneck pace. Bronwen starts out by landing a heavy overhand right, and an unusual right-left-right leg kick combination. Several more takedowns and escapes occur from both fighters. At one point, when Sinn has the top position, Bronwen catches her in a kimura that looks to be nearing success. However, Sinn escapes only to land on her back in half guard. From there she improves her position to full guard and implements the rubber guard. Bronwen is then able to stand up. Sinn immediately shoots for another takedown, inadvertently putting herself into a guillotine choke administered by Bronwen. As the fighters fall to the ground, Sinn is able to roll backwards, over and out of the choke. She lands on her back with Bronwen in her guard. Like before, Sinn utilizes the rubber guard and Bronwen squeezes out of it to return the fight to their  feet.

With ten minutes passed, both fighters attempt a few strikes that fail to hit their mark. It isn't until Bronwen, covered in her own blood as well as Sinn's decides to go for broke with a lunging cross that the fight truly finds its finale. Sinn sidesteps the punch, catching Bronwen's arm and snapping her leg up hard into Bronwen's face. The impact of the kick mixed with the momentum in Bronwen's lunge is all it took to cause Bronwen's eyes to glaze over and drop her to the mat with her fists still in the ready position.

Sinn defeats O'Connor to become Lightweight Champion via knockout at 10:43.

Announcer: And now... fighting out of the red corner... he is a wrestler, with a record of seven wins, one loss and one draw, standing at 193 centimeters and weighing in at 125 kilograms. Ladies and gentlemen... the Heavyweight Champion... JACKSONNNNNNNNNNN!!

The referee makes sure everything is in order before standing back and calling for the fight to begin. Jackson and Spiral connect in the middle of The Circle. Jackson works immediately to the clinch, though Spiral backs him right up to the edge of The Circle, where Jackson nearly loses his footing as Spiral works his arms free and lands a few hard shots to the midsection. Jackson backs away and shoots in, taking Spiral down with a tackle, ramming his fist into Spiral's face over and over. Jackson misses a jab and Spiral nails him with a counter right. Jackson lands another bomb and then moves in for another clinch. Jackson lands a knee inside, then just misses with an elbow as he backs away. Spiral reaches for Jackson, looking for an inverted atomic drop, and instead getting an elbow to the face for his trouble. Spiral stumbles back, and Jackson is all over him as he kicks the back of Spiral's knee, driving him down to the mat. Following with a quick knee to the face, Jackson grabs Spiral by the hair, pulling him to his feet, only to go down courtesy of a well-placed elbow to the sternum.

Spiral smashes Jackson's nose with his palm, only to catch a low blow in the exchange. Jackson misses a punch, and Spiral ducks under and works him to the floor. Spiral takes side control and throws several knees to Jackson's face, further bloodying the Champion. Jackson tries to roll free, and turns Spiral by grabbing his leg and rolling. The two stand, Jackson at the rear. Spiral lands a back elbow to the face but Jackson dumps him on the floor. Spiral stands immediately back up. One minute remains, and Spiral lands a flurry. Jackson misses a takedown, and the two again clinch. The pair trades knees and Spiral works it to the floor again, smashing his elbows into Jackson's knees.

Spiral works to side control, then to the back as Jackson rolls. Jackson stands, and Spiral lands a knee on the break. Jackson moves forward again into a clinch and with double underhooks, works Spiral back down, only to be on the receiving end of a throat thrust that leaves him gasping for air. He tries to roll away, but Spiral brings a knee down across his throat, landing a succession of blows that turns the tide. Jackson releases the legs he has wrapped around Spiral's waist. Jackson lands a punch as Spiral pulls away only to have Spiral bash him in the face with repeated headbutts that leave Spiral's forehead busted wide open from Jackson's teeth.

Jackson is a mess, and the referee intervenes, trying to drag Spiral off as he pummels Jackson in the face, opening up cuts over both eyes. The crowd erupts in cheers as Ryann Hardy charges into the ring as the referee calls for the match to end, attempting to keep Spiral off Jackson. Hardy dives across Jackson's body, and Spiral smashes her in the face, knocking her out cold. She sprawls atop Jackson and Spiral reaches into his pocket, pulling out a straight razor.

At this moment the owner of The Circuit, Tibor Petrov and two of his bodyguards stormed The Circle and assisted the official in removing Spiral from the scene of carnage, but not before he cuts Jackson's neck with a slice of the blade.

Spiral defeats Jackson via stoppage at 19:51 but is stripped of the Heavyweight Title due to unsanctioned fighting.
