Open Weight Fight
Robbyn Helmsley vs Sawyer Roark

Helmsley opens up with a jab, feeling out her opponent. Roark rushes forward with a combo, but Helmsley retreats. The pair moves into a clinch, and Roark pushes Helmsley to the wall of the pit. Knees traded inside, but Roark keeps the action against the wall. Roark finally backs away from the stalemate. Helmsley lands a low blow and dives into a clinch again. Roark presses Helmsley to the wall, and we're two minutes in. Roark has underhooks again, but he's unable to take advantage of it. Helmsley lands a high kick and tries to pounce, but she slips to guard and grabs a guillotine. She quickly lets go, and Roark sets up on top. The referee rushes in quickly to stop the fight. There's confusion at first until Roark backs off to show that Helmsley's left leg buckled under her grotesquely on the fall to the floor, and her ankle is definitely broken. The crowd hurls abuse from the balcony, demanding a restart to the action but Helmsley is too out of it to care. Petrov himself steps up to the edge of the pit and looks down before drawing his thumb across his throat. One of his goons pulls out a gun and puts a bullet between the eyes of Helmsley, putting her out of her misery.

Roark defeats Helmsley via death at 5:02.

Gabriel Chance vs Kayla Knix

Chance, in a last minute substitution for the absentee Cain, leaps in with two punches, but Knix grabs a clinch and pushes him to the pit wall. Over-under grip, and the pair jockeys for position. Chance earns the trip and sets up on top. Knix backs up to the wall and postures. Knix grabs a guillotine on the right side and lies down in half-guard. Chance throws left hands to the body and eventually passes out to the side. Knix holds the grip a bit longer before finally letting go. Chance delivers a few shots, then stands and grabs a guillotine of his own. His back is against the wall, so there's no room to torque the hold. Chance breaks the hold and immediately throws knees to the thigh, but the action is restarted in the center when it slows. Two-punch combo for Chance, and a kick misses high. Chance throws four punches and a kick, though they're blocked. Knix answers with a 1-2. Chance presses the action, but he walks into a right. Chance pushes in but eats another punch. Knix falls to her back, and Chance throws elbows and punches from top position.

Chance lands a nice right to the body, among other punches, but Knix spins off the wall and takes Chance to the floor. Knix pulls half-guard underneath. Chance stands as Knix tries to slide out, but in a slick roll, Knix takes the back. Chance spins out and the pair stands. Knix shoots in, but Chance reverses the action and forces the fight to the floor. Chance takes mount, then rear mount. Both hooks in. Chance lands a few elbows to the head that look dangerously close to doing Knix in. Knix spins and works very hard to pop out the back door. Unfortunately, her head is exposed, and Chance lands several elbows to the temple that finish her off.

Chance defeats Knix via knockout at 9:21.

Lightweight Division Fight MATCH OF THE NIGHT
Allison Detorre vs Kaitlynn "The Bitch" McIntyre

Quick touch of gloves, and McIntyre jabs and lands some low kicks. McIntyre presses forward and Detorre fires off a high kick. McIntyre shoots in. Detorre throws a knee in defense, but McIntyre gets her to the floor. Detorre seated, and she falls back to half-guard. Detorre scrambles up to her feet quickly and the pair trades quick punches before resetting in the center. Detorre kicks to the body, driving into a quick flurry and into an ineffectual clinch. Even action to open, and both fighters are speedy on their feet. Detorre lands a pair of low kicks, and the second catches McIntyre in the midsection, doubling her over. She falls to her knees, only to receive a knee to the face that drives her back into the concrete pit wall. McIntyre takes a few seconds to regroup and then dives back into action. Both fighters trade punches, and Detorre grabs a clinch, but McIntyre dumps her. Detorre immediately back up. Traded punches and kicks from all angles. Detorre pops McIntyre's head back with a jab. Detorre lands knees in a clinch and fires off a 1-2 when they break. McIntyre shucks off a takedown and turns it into one of her own. Detorre gets her legs in and kicks McIntyre away before returning to her feet. McIntyre lands, but Detorre fires back.

McIntyre paws a jab and kicks low. Two punches land up top, but Detorre rushes in and scores. McIntyre fakes a shot and lands an overhand. Detorre into the clinch, but McIntyre gets an arm under a leg and slams her to the concrete. Detorre pops her legs up for a submission, but McIntyre slides out quickly. McIntyre stands and tries to pass the legs. She can't and Detorre stands. McIntyre lands a punch to the head and a low kick. Pace seems to be slowing a bit as both women are evenly matched. Detorre moves in with a left, but McIntyre fires uppercuts inside. McIntyre pushes Detorre to the wall, headbutting her in the face, and causing the back of her head to impact with one of the steel girders embedded in the wall. Detorre crumbles but manages to move away from McIntyre's diving knee strike. McIntyre fires to the body. Detorre catches her with a counter punch and knee, then McIntyre slams her back down with a scoop slam. Detorre turns for an arm, but McIntyre avoids. McIntyre on top, but Detorre threatening underneath and keeping McIntyre from attacking. McIntyre stands and delivers a few kicks before Detorre returns to her feet.

Traded kicks from both. Into the clinch, and McIntyre does her best in putting Detorre on her shoulder and dumping her to the floor. McIntyre on top. Detorre works to guard, and McIntyre chooses to stand. McIntyre grabs a Thai clinch and fires knees. Detorre backs away and throws a combination. Plum from Detorre, but McIntyre works the body inside. To the canvas again, and McIntyre is in half-mount. Detorre tries to roll out, but she's forced to pull guard. McIntyre stands again, though she keeps hold of a single leg and Detorre takes a seat. McIntyre briefly holds the back on a roll, but Detorre spins free. One minute left, and McIntyre postures and throws before backing away. Detorre comes out swinging, though the knees seem to be what's landing best. McIntyre absorbs them and nails a vicious uppercut. As Detorre staggers back, McIntyre sweeps her legs and nails a knee strike to the face that puts Detorre out of commission against the concrete wall.

McIntyre defeats Detorre via knockout at 12:44.

HEADLINE FIGHT

Heavyweight Division Fight
V vs Bruce "The Highlander" McLeod

McLeod lands a few punches early, and V looks for the ground. Can't get it. McLeod pressing the action, but V standing in the pocket and returning fire. V lands a few knees to the head. Stiff left for McLeod, and a second only to be answered with another knee from V. V seems effective with more kicks to the body. V gets the best early, but McLeod drops him with a left hook. McLeod pounces, but V scrambles back up. McLeod lands a few lefts and catches a kick. Right hand staggers V. V in trouble, and he covers up on the wall, McLeod keeps pouring it on. V courageously firing back. Elbow up top from McLeod. Left hand from McLeod. V fires back, but it's one shot to McLeod's 10. Both fighters are battered, but it's McLeod who seems exhausted. V kicks to the body. More left hands from McLeod that are weaker than his previous onslaught. V retreats and survives, continuing to fire off shots. V dropped, and he gets off the concrete and staggers McLeod, who then shoots in on a leg.

V does better in this exchange. V nails a few more kicks to the body. McLeod lands a few jabs, but V pops his head back with a straight right. Slapping low kicks for McLeod. V misses on two high kicks and eats a left hand. Right scores for McLeod. V kicks high, but it's blocked. V scores a right hand. McLeod catches a kick, but V jumps the back when his opponent tries for the takedown. It's a quick rear-naked choke, and it looks good with the hooks wrapped. McLeod succumbs pretty easily as V rides him down to the floor.

V defeats McLeod via submission at 11:17.

Sinn vs Frank "Blitz" Krieger

Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, the two fighters in The Turkish Death Pit tonight will fight until only one remains standing!!! All bets for this fight are now final. Introducing first... fighting out of Dusseldorf, Germany; he stands 198 centimeters and weighs 110 kilograms, with a record of two wins and two losses. Ladies and gentlemen... Frank "Blitz" Kriegerrrr!

Frank Krieger walks into the arena, looking around at the spectators.  He removes his trenchcoat, and then looks down at the Turkish death pit.  There is a look of nervousness but he is a man without fear.  He walks down the steps of the pit and steps onto the cold concrete floor.  The solid concrete walls, braced with steel girders give off an ominous feel.  Krieger cranes his head up, waiting for the Lightweight Champion to arrive.

Announcer: And now... his opponent... fighting out of Austin, Texas...  a submission grappler with a record of seventeen wins, and two losses, standing at 173 centimeters and weighing in at 73 kilograms. Ladies and gentlemen... the Lightweight Champion... Sinnn!!

The fight begins with the pair trading jabs, and Krieger lands with a low kick. Sinn does the same, but Krieger works her to the concrete. Sinn takes butterfly guard and then pushes her opponent away and stands. Krieger rallies back with a nice left. Sinn looks a little frustrated early as Krieger beats her to the punch. Krieger lands again and grins, shaking his right hand. Krieger fires a shot to the body and Sinn answers with a low kick. Krieger just misses on a big overhand. Sinn answers to the body. Sinn moving forward as Krieger looks to counter. Krieger catches Sinn and drops her to the floor. Sinn tries to scramble up, but Krieger grabs a front headlock. Back to their feet almost immediately, Krieger lands a knee before backing away. Big right connects for Krieger. Sinn answers with a kick. Krieger patient, but he's clearly picking Sinn apart. Sinn's nose is already bleeding but she refuses to back down. Her punches already appear to have lost some zip. Krieger kicks low and just misses a big right. Straight lands for Krieger. Sinn moving in, but she's eating counters. Sinn finishes a combo with a kick to the leg. It might be the best strategy. Sinn lands a combo late, only to find herself backed against the wall of the pit.

Sinn lands a kick, trying to create space, but Krieger answers back with a right. Krieger looks a little more aggressive than he did in the opening moments of the fight. Sinn again finishes a combo with a kick, and it scores. Sinn throws another kick, but Krieger lands a right that wobbles her. Krieger pounces, and Sinn pulls guard and looks for a kimura on the left arm. She lets it go and backs up to the wall. Sinn scrambles up to her feet. Sinn lands one punch but misses several more. Krieger's back in counter mode, and he takes a deep breath. Sinn begins working kicks again, knowing her only advantage is to keep Krieger at bay. Krieger slows down the attack. Sinn now landing and Krieger slower with the counters. Traded jabs. Another low kick for Sinn. Krieger's not hurt, but he's not firing quite as frequently. Krieger shoots in, but Sinn defends well. A high kick from Sinn is blocked and Krieger rushes her against the wall, driving in for an impactful splash. Sinn counters with a wild eye rake that draws blood. Krieger misses on a spinning backfist as Sinn scrambles away.

Sinn comes out swinging, but an early kick catches Krieger's groin, staggering him back. The momentum seems to be shifting in Sinn's favor as she fires in a few kicks to the body. Krieger lands a stiff straight punch to the face that knocks Sinn off balance. She crashes against the wall of the pit and Krieger slips a punch, shooting in. Sinn denies it again, mostly on instinct as she tries to get her bearings. She works a few shots to the body. Sinn has finally opened up, and Krieger really looks to be slowing down although he's certainly still dangerous. Krieger lands a right in an exchange. Traded punches by both. Krieger lands a jab. Sinn kicks to the body. Krieger with a jab, then another. Krieger lands a nice knee that wobbles Sinn. Low kick hurts Krieger. Sinn pounces, and the crowd senses a finish. Krieger pulls guard underneath the onslaught, but Sinn keeps throwing from the top.

Krieger holds a closed guard. Sinn might be better off returning to her feet but she refuses, only to have Krieger roll, driving her head right into the wall of the pit. He shucks off Sinn and stumbles up. If Krieger is hurt, he doesn't show it. Krieger leaps in with a knee and then starts firing in shots with Sinn trapped against the wall on her back. Right hand lands for Krieger. He's firing bombs now and just misses a right. Krieger lands a few hooks. Sinn fires back in desperation, but not nearly as powerfully as Krieger gets his hooks in and locks her into a rear-naked choke that she has no hope of breaking out of.

Krieger defeats Sinn via submission at 22:11.
