Heavyweight Division Fight
Bull Kegan vs Bruce "The Highlander" McLeod

Kegan strikes first with a face kick that snaps McLeod awake. More slap than anything, but it sounds good. McLeod closes the distance and pulls guard, and Kegan slaps on a choke as McLeod gets to his feet. He lets go and fires a body kick as McLeod stands. Kegan backs away and then comes in with a right hand that lands. He then drags McLeod to the mat and frees a leg into half guard. Kegan stands over his opponent and looks to dive. He does with a big right hand that just misses. McLeod gets to his feet, and throws a big right that misses, but he grabs Kegan around the neck from behind and drags him to the floor. McLeod gets his hooks in and looks for the rear-naked choke. It looks over, but Kegan escapes and gets to his feet with a round of applause. The fighters return to the center of the circle. After a clinch, McLeod fires in with a few more strikes, connecting with a few haymakers. Kegan goes high with a knee to the body, and McLeod simply shoves him to the floor. McLeod works from the top as Kegan is trapped between flying fists and the floor. Kegan ties up his opponent to avoid damage, but McLeod finally creates some separation and delivers a flurry of forearms and hammerfists before connecting with his signature blow to the temple.

McLeod defeats Kegan via knockout at 6:22.

Lightweight Division Fight
AJ Myers vs Shyla Clemmens

After 35 seconds, Myers lands the first shot with a right hand and then pushes Clemmens down to the floor. The fighters jockey for position and break to restart. Clemmens shoots and grabs a leg, pushes Myers into the mat, and then scoops her up and takes her to the floor again, forcefully putting her down with a few elbows. With Myers pinned to the floor, the fight looks to be seconds from over until Myers denies the attempt by Clemmens to gain side control. With little room to work, though, Myers works her way to her feet, and Clemmens scores punches to the body. Myers, though, takes Clemmens to the mat and unloads a quick flurry of punches before standing over her and raining down big blows from the top. A dozen shots have landed loudly, and a right hand clips Clemmens on the chin. Myers dives in for side control and then moves into mount and unloads a barrage of punches. Myers stands to regroup and tries to dive in with an overhand right. Clemmens, though, kicks her way free. While Myers is on her knees, Clemmens lands a kick to the face that puts Myers out like a light.

Clemmens defeats Myers via knockout at 5:02.

Lightweight Division Fight MATCH OF THE NIGHT
Sinn vs Rachel Ellsworth

Sinn lands a quick right against the newcomer before clinching. She knocks Ellsworth off balance with another shot. Ellsworth gets to her feet and drives Sinn back towards the edge of the circle. Sinn reverses and delivers a stream of blows as Ellsworth tries to secure the clinch. On the break, Sinn continues throwing everything in her arsenal at Ellsworth, landing a couple, but Ellsworth appears fine. Ellsworth pulls Sinn in close and takes the fight to the floor as she sweeps her legs out from under her. The fighters trade short punches while jockeying for position. Ellsworth with a knee to the midsection. Ellsworth eats a few knees to the body but answers with a right. Ellsworth with the clinch and delivers knees while Sinn works punches to the side. Sinn gets the takedown, and stands over Ellsworth, who pulls her in close. Sinn eventually backs away, and the fight starts all over again. Ellsworth with a front kick that lands before they clinch again. Sinn tries for a guillotine and throws body shots but eats a right from Ellsworth. Sinn dips for the single leg, but is denied as Ellsworth fights it off and delivers two more knees.

Sinn's face is showing the damage from a few lucky shots- her lips are split and bleeding. Ellsworth immediately unloads a combo, and Sinn looks wobbly. She backs off, looking to regroup and Ellsworth lands a body kick and then a front kick. Sinn answers with an overhand right. Ellsworth lands a couple punches before closing the distance again. Sinn fires off a left-right combo, but Ellsworth answers with a combo of her own. Both fighters are bloodied. Ellsworth creates distance and then goes high with a kick that Sinn only partially blocks. Some dirty boxing by both before Sinn catches a kick and knocks Ellsworth briefly off balance with a soft right. A sloppy exchange in the center of the circle, and we can see the cut from Ellsworth's forehead.

Sinn lands a few decent shots followed with a nice uppercut. Ellsworth shakes it off and then delivers a barrage of knees from the clinch. Sinn, though, backs her off with a wild flurry that misses. Ellsworth closes the distance with more knees, backs off and delivers kicks and then lands a Superman punch. Sinn whiffs with a right and eats a forearm strike and another. The fighters trade stiff rights before Ellsworth lands a few more kicks and then an uppercut that wobbles Sinn again. Sinn drops her hands and eats more shots and then a left to the belly and right to the head. Sinn wings a desperation right, and Ellsworth closes the distance, grabbing hold of the staggered Sinn. Ellsworth wraps her hands around Sinn's head, and drops to her knees, delivering a crushing blow to the back of Sinn's head, a signature move she calls Code Red.

Ellsworth defeats Sinn via knockout at 19:22.


HEADLINE FIGHT

Lightweight Division Fight
Christian Cain vs Frank "Blitz" Krieger

Krieger testing his reach in the opening moments and just misses with a head kick. Lots of dancing early before Cain clinches, lands a right and pushes his opponent back, only to sidestep instead of attempting a takedown and hits Krieger with a back fist to the base of the skull. Krieger, though, scores the trip takedown and works from side control. Krieger struggles to corral him but Cain gets to his feet. Krieger clinches and wants to take the fight back to the mat, but Cain fends him off and moves away. Krieger, though, scores another crafty takedown and moves into mount. Cain secures half guard from his back. Krieger backs off, and the fight restarts standing. Krieger lands a low blow, but Cain shakes it off and shoots for the takedown. Krieger fends it off, and rolls to his back, forcing Cain off with a judo toss. Cain rolls to his feet as he lands, and immediately comes back in, lands a couple quick shots that rattle Krieger's cage. Krieger drops Cain with a big right. Cain looks out cold, and as Krieger moves in for some mounted punches, but Cain is playing possum, and rolls over into a guillotine choke.

Krieger catches a kick and then sweeps Cain's other leg out from under him. Krieger doesn't follow him to the mat, and after getting back to his feet, Cain gets underhooks and scores his own takedown. While in the kneeling position, Cain delivers more shoots and looks briefly like he's going to take his opponent's back. Krieger, though, gets back to his feet, but Cain's on him like Velcro, nailing a few more quick shots before dancing away.

Cain creates distance and throws some punches before Krieger tries a leaping knee from close range. It doesn't work, and the fight hits the mat. Krieger's on his knees again, and Cain tries to take his back. Instead, Krieger reverses, takes top position and then dives in with a right. Hammerfists from Krieger that are answered by body shots and a knee to the groin from Cain. Cain ties him up and secures a guillotine choke to end the fight.

Cain defeats Krieger via submission at 13:41.

MAIN EVENT

Heavyweight Division Match
Mark Chapman vs V

Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, the two men in The Circle tonight will fight until only one remains standing!!! All bets for this fight are now final. Introducing first... fighting out of the red corner... he is a wrestler with a mixed martial arts background, undefeated in his return to the circle with a record of three wins and four losses, standing at 190 centimeters and weighing in at 105 kilograms. Ladies and gentlemen... MARKKKKKKKKK CHAPMANNNNNNNNNN!!

Chapman moves out into the circle, looking almost amused.

Announcer: And now... his opponent... fighting out of the blue corner...  a brawler with a record of seven wins, and four losses, standing at 190 centimeters and weighing in at 110 kilograms. Ladies and gentlemen... the current Heavyweight Champion... VEEEEEEEEE!!!

The fighters trade sloppy shots, punches and elbows that barely connect as they dance around each other. Chapman goes for an exaggerated kick, and misses by a mile. V corrals him in a near piledriver before Chapman escapes back to his feet. V fakes a shot and shoots, missing by a mile. Chapman defends and then trips himself, falling on his back as the spectators begin to boo loudly at the lack of fighting action.

V follows him to the mat, and uses the opportunity to take the top position and slap Chapman across the face like a paintbrush. V gets the crucifix position and delivers an elbow shot that is barely a glancing blow, but that Chapman sells as if he's in excruciating pain. With V on his back, Chapman tries to dive in with a right but misses again. Both fighters work back to their feet, and Chapman holds out his hand to V, looking for a test of strength. The two stand in the middle of the circle, staring each other down while they both appear to be evenly matched on the test of strength.

Chapman breaks off first and paws a jab before throwing a soft leg kick. V shakes off the impact, and fires back with a stomping punch combo that makes a lot of noise but does no damage. Chapman with an inside leg kick. V returns and misses with a head kick. Chapman whiffs with a big right but lands the leg kick. The fighters both partially connect on big shots and reset. Chapman again goes after the legs. V tries to answer but misses. Chapman clips V with a shot, but he recovers and tries a trip takedown. V clinches, and the fighters wrestle for position in the first real action of the fight.

On the break, Chapman uncorks a knee to the head, but V is down, and waves him off, looking for a timeout. V complains of a possible eye injury, though it is plain to see that nothing has come in contact with his face. Once again the crowd boos. V checks a head kick and whiffs on a couple rights as the action resumes. Chapman again throws leg kicks and pushes V back with a front kick. V falls, and Chapman slips behind him, locking his fingers into V's eyesockets for a face claw submission hold.

Chapman defeats V via submission at 11:01.
