UNDERCARD

Lightweight Division Fight
Austin Davis vs Terri Zwart

Davis kicks off his debut fight with a couple quick jabs that rock his opponent. Zwart then checks a head kick and pushes forward until backed up by a few shots in retaliation from Davis. Davis rushes in to try to clinch but eats a couple punches and is forced to back out. Nice uppercut from Zwart before Davis throws a head kick that Zwart brushes off. Zwart lands a nice jab, but Davis answers with another kick to the body. The fighters trade straight punches. A nice pace keeps the crowd entertained. Davis with a nice right to the belly before he slams a knee in. Davis finally shoots and takes down Zwart, postures up to land a punch and then hops into half guard. Davis delivers some punches and moves into side control. He patiently works for position and tries to take Zwart's back during an escape attempt. Davis wraps Zwart into a rear-naked choke and pins her back to the mat, choking her into unconsciousness.

Davis defeats Zwart via knockout at 7:01.

Open Weight Fight
Shane "Dixie Dynamite" Sanders vs Shane Tallin

Tallin lands an inside leg kick to one of Dixie Dynamite's knees. Sanders, though, stalks as Tallin circles, looking to draw her into a shooting contest. Tallin lands a nice overhand right that draws a reaction from the crowd. Sanders fires back with a few shots of her own, bloodying the face of her opponent. Tallin no longer seems worried about a takedown. However, Sanders catches a kick and sweeps Tallin's other leg out from under him to put him on his back. Sanders gets half guard and scrambles for side mount. Tallin tries to escape and gives up his back in the process. Sanders clings to him and tries to lock in her hooks, but Tallin rolls free and pulls his opponent back into half guard. Sanders, though, moves into half guard and then the north-south position. Sanders can do little but tea-bag her opponent, and the fight goes back to their feet. Sanders, though, quickly takes it back to the mat, secures mount, and rains down a series of deadly shots to the face. Tallin pulls her close to avoid damage, but Sanders postures up again and grabs an arm looking for the armbar. She rolls Tallin over and tries to torque the hold, but Tallin hangs strong. Sanders, though, locks in her legs and finally forces the tapout.

Sanders defeats Tallin via submission at 5:56.

Lightweight Division Fight
Kayla Knix vs Ryann Hardy

Hardy strikes first with a face kick that snaps Knix awake, forcing her to stagger back and nearly out of The Circle. Knix closes the distance and pulls guard, and Hardy slaps on a choke as Knix gets to her feet. Hardy lets go and fires a body kick as Knix stands. Hardy backs away and then comes in with a right hand that lands flush against Knix's cheek. She drags Knix to the mat and frees a leg into half guard. Hardy stands over her opponent and looks to dive in with a big right hand that just misses, and Knix gets in a hard shot to the cheekbone of Hardy, snapping her head back and putting her down. Hardy throws herself away from Knix, but the newcomer gets her hooks in and looks for the rear-naked choke on Hardy. It looks to be over, but Hardy escapes and gets to her feet with a round of applause. The fighters return to the center of The Circle, and Hardy looks a bit winded with a bruise already forming on her cheek. After a clinch, Hardy goes high with a knee to the body, and Knix simply shoves her off from the takedown attempt. Knix works from the top, raining down a few blows to Hardy's face. Hardy turtles and ties up her opponent to avoid damage, but Knix finally creates some separation and delivers a flurry of forearms and hammerfists before Hardy ties her up again.

Knix lands a leg kick but is forced to retreat when Hardy backs her up with punches and kicks to the leg. Hardy scores a big overhand right and then misses a trip but secures a speedy suplex to take the fight to the mat. Knix, though, easily reverses the position, and the fight is halted when Hardy delivers a series of kicks to the head of her downed opponent. Knix gets careless and nearly gets caught in an armbar before breaking free of the hold. Hardy, though, isn't finished and looks for a leg, rolls over, nearly hits Knix again with an illegal kick and then gets to her feet. Once there, Hardy unloads some punches to the face of Knix, bloodying her nose before she staggers back. Hardy unloads with a superkick that drives Knix down to the floor where she bangs the back of her head on the thin mat covering the cold concrete. The crowd yells their approval. Hardy drives a knee into the face of Knix, mashing her nose before Knix reverses the position again. Hardy works the butterfly guard from her back before moving to full guard and pulling Knix close. Knix looks to pass guard as Hardy looks to trap an arm. Neither succeeds, but Knix frees a leg. Hardy, though, negates all possible offense and pulls Knix close, driving an elbow into her face that knocks Knix out cold.

Hardy defeats Knix via knockout at 11:13.

Before the next fight, Spiral is found in the locker room area, unconscious in a pool of his own blood. Petrov's men are on full alert, combing the halls to look for the culprit, or the weapon although there is much speculation that the banished Gutter Rat or possibly even Jackson himself might have had something to do with the assault.

Heavyweight Tournament Semi-Final Match
Osbourne Kilminster vs Azraith

Kilminster testing his reach and just misses with a head kick. Lots of dancing early before Azraith clinches, land a right and pushes his opponent towards the edge of The Circle. Kilminster, though, scores the trip takedown and works from side control. With Azraith pressed into the floor, Kilminster struggles to corral him with a few shots to the ribs but Azraith slips the hold and gets to his feet. Kilminster follows up with a sweep kick and another crafty takedown as he moves into mount. Azraith blocks a few more bombs and then secures half guard from his back. Kilminster backs off and the two restart the fight standing. Kilminster lands a low blow, but Azraith shoots for the takedown. Kilminster fends it off, and the fighters stalemate against the edge of The Circle again. Azraith backs off before Kilminster lands a couple shots and then drops Azraith with a big right that knocks him right out cold. 

Kilminster defeats Azraith via knockout at 4:11 to advance to the finals of the Heavyweight Title Tournament.

HEADLINE FIGHTS

Lightweight Title Fight
Sinn vs Ainsley Lake

Lake throws a soft leg kick that misses the mark as Sinn dances away, firing in a right that stuns Lake briefly. Lake misses with a head kick attempt and ends up on her back when Sinn charges and tackles her to the floor. Lake clips Sinn with a shot, rising back to her knees but Sinn recovers and tries a trip takedown. Sinn clinches, and the fighters wrestle for position. On the break, Lake uncorks a knee to the head that connects solidly with Sinn's eye. She goes down hard, and Lake tries to capitalize, dropping a knee across Sinn's chest before going for a big punch that Sinn rolls away from. Lake tries to shake off the impact with the floor, and Sinn is all over her, riding her back to the floor and pummeling her.  Lake kneels so Sinn can't get her hooks in for any sort of submission, but Sinn pulls her back and nearly gets it. Lake scrambles and escapes back to her feet.

Sinn regroups and comes back with a jab early and then goes low with a kick. The two lightweights trade shots, rocking each other in the middle of The Circle Both swing wildly, and an open-hand shot from Sinn pokes Lake deep in the eye. Sinn blocks a head kick retaliation and shoots in for another takedown. Some elbows land, and Sinn moves into half guard. Lake initially ties her up, but Sinn drops more short elbows to the head. Sinn continues with the effective strikes as Lake's pressed into the floor, barely able to fight back. Lake's bleeding from the nose and gives up her back while trying to get to her feet. Sinn connects with an uppercut that puts Lake back down, and continues dropping bomb after bomb into her face before the referee is forced to intervene and pull her off.

Sinn defeats Lake via knockout (and stoppage) at 11:17.

Heavyweight Division Fight
Jackson vs Mark Chapman

Jackson immediately charges in but can't secure his opponent as Chapman slips his grapple attempt. Jackson's nose is already bloodied at the onset of the match, and is leaking again as Chapman catches Jackson with an elbow shot as he ducks the takedown attempt. Jackson staggers and backs off. Chapman moves in and lands a body shot, looking to follow up with a low blow, but Jackson laughs off the shot to the groin. Chapman shoots, grabs the ankles, and puts Jackson on his back. Chapman postures up and delivers some patented ground and pound before Jackson ties him up. Chapman moves into half guard as Jackson grabs an arm and uses it to get to his feet. Chapman grabs a leg and pushes Jackson back towards the edge of The Circle. Jackson reverses and puts Chapman down, dropping a knee on the back of his head. Jackson draws his fist back and slams it with full force into Chapman's ribs. The sound of breaking bone is loud in the hushed room as the fighters break. Jackson is shaking his hand, trying to get feeling back as Chapman gets to his feet, clearly feeling the impact. Jackson charges in, and firing off with his left hand now, delivers a few blows during the collision. Chapman already looks a bit gassed. Jackson counters with a weak right and then fends off a takedown. The fighters trade jabs. Jackson mixes in jabs and inside knees, trying to get the younger fighter off him. Chapman is solid and Jackson is knocked off balance during the clash but lands a knee to the ribs before Chapman rolls away.

Both fighters are breathing heavily as they collide again. Both miss with wide rights. Chapman with a nice left, and Jackson staggers back, his nose running like a faucet from the blow. Chapman shoots and puts him on his back. Chapman works from full guard and drops some elbows that connect with Jackson's face, busting him open above the eye. More punches from Chapman. Jackson pulls him close, and Chapman moves to half guard. Jackson, though, escapes once again, keeping hold of Chapman's arm and twisting while he uses his legs for leverage, nearly ripping the arm from his socket. 

Jackson backs off as the referee intervenes in the stalemate, and they both move back to their feet, each down to one good arm. Chapman telegraphs a takedown that Jackson sniffs out.  A front kick from Jackson knocks Chapman back, but there is nothing left in the tank to follow up. Chapman scores another takedown, one that Jackson should have seen. Jackson works the butterfly guard but goes back to full as Chapman lands a nice elbow and then another. Chapman's face is bruised, but nowhere near the mess Jackson's is. Jackson pulls Chapman close once again, but Chapman scores a couple elbows that cut open Jackson badly. Jackson reverses and takes top position, and the crowd comes alive. Jackson throws a burst of short elbows, but they don't seem to have a much on them as Chapman pushes away.

Jackson works with a sense of urgency and throws kicks and punches form a variety of angles. Jackson with a couple low kicks that connect and then he follows up with a nice right-left combo that backs up Chapman. Chapman has slowed a bit, and Jackson gets to throw some more shots. A right-left combo lands for Jackson. Jackson is starting to pick apart Chapman while moving in and out with punches. Chapman shoots, but Jackson stuffs it and Chapman retreats. Jackson with a low kick, Chapman with a knee to the midsection. The two are evenly matched, battling back and forth, Jackson working more punches through Chapman's defenses as the fight wears on. Chapman isn't hurt, but he's got no answer right now. Jackson with a nice left-punch left-kick combo. Jackson goes high and partially connects on a kick to the head. Chapman eats another kick but is still standing. Chapman finally answers back as the round comes to a close, clinching and slamming Jackson down. Jackson escapes, and turns the move into an armbar on the injured arm. Chapman knees Jackson in the back repeatedly, trying to escape the move. Jackson shifts position, locking his legs around Chapman's neck and nearly ripping his arm clean off, leaving Chapman no choice but to pass out from the sheer agony of his injured shoulder. 

Jackson defeats Chapman via submission at 23:33.

MAIN EVENT

Heavyweight Title Tournament Final: Cold Steel Cage
V vs Osbourne Kilminster

Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, the men in The Circle tonight will fight until only one remains standing for the right to be called the Heavyweight Champion!!! All bets for this fight are now final. Introducing first... he is a mixed martial artist with a wrestling background, with a record of six wins and eight losses, standing at 188 centimeters and weighing in at 106 kilograms. Ladies and gentlemen, OSBOURNE KILMINSTER!!!!

Still sweaty from his earlier fight, Kilminster makes his way out to The Circle, looking confident.

Announcer: And now... his opponent... a brawler with a record of five wins, and two losses, standing at 190 centimeters and weighing in at 110 kilograms. Ladies and gentlemen... VEEEEEEEEE!!!

There's no sportsmanship here. No touch of the gloves or shows of respect before V lands a quick right, immediately clinching. He knocks Kilminster off balance with another shot. Kilminster gets to his feet and pushes V back. V reverses and delivers a stream of blows as Kilminster tries to avoid another clinch. On the break, V continues throwing and lands a couple, but Kilminster appears fine. Kilminster drives V back with his educated feet, connecting with a few body shot kicks that have V crashing against the cold metal. The fighters trade short punches while jockeying for position. Kilminster with a knee to the midsection. Kilminster eats a few knees to the body but answers with a right. V with the clinch but Kilminster delivers knees while V works punches to the side. V with the takedown, and he stands over Kilminster, who pulls him in close. V eventually backs away, and the fight moves back to standing. Kilminster with a front kick that lands before they clinch against the cage again. V tries a guillotine and throws body shots but eats a right from Kilminster. Clinched against the cage again, Kilminster lands a nice knee from the clinch. A second misses but the third lands, and V dips for the single leg. Kilminster fights it off and delivers two more knees.

V's face is pretty battered as Kilminster immediately unloads a combo. V looks wobbly, but regroups quickly. Kilminster tosses V into the fence on another clinch attempt and then backs up as V misses on a wild left. V's jawing but eats a shot as blood begins to pour from a cut above his eye. The fighters again clinch, and Kilminster works knees from the clinch. He backs off, landing a body kick and then front kick. V answers with an overhand right that busts Kilminster open above the eye. Kilminster clinches and pushes the action into the cage. Kilminster lands a couple punches before closing the distance again. V fires off a left-right combo, but Kilminster answers with a combo of his own. Both fighters are bloodied. Kilminster creates distance and then goes high with a kick that V only partially blocks.

Kilminster has some luck with front kicks. After clinching against the cage again, Kilminster works knees to the body. Some dirty boxing by both before V catches a kick and knocks Kilminster briefly off balance with a soft right. A sloppy exchange in the center of the cage, and we can see the cut from Kilminster's forehead. V lands a few decent shots followed with a nice uppercut. Kilminster shakes it off and then delivers a barrage of knees from the clinch. V, though, backs him off with a wild flurry that misses. Kilminster closes the distance with more knees, backs off and delivers kicks and then lands a heart punch that sends V reeling. V misses with a right and eats a forearm strike and another. Kilminster backs up for a leaping knee to the body as V covers up for it. The fighters trade stiff rights before Kilminster lands a few more kicks and then another elbow strike to the face that wobbles V again. V drops his hands and eats more shots and then a left to the belly and right to the hand. Kilminster goes high with a head kick before V answers with a decent straight shot. Kilminster shoves him into the cage and tags him with an elbow. As V crumbles, Kilminster launches and connects with a knee and foot combination that leaves V in a bloodied heap on the floor. Kilminster drops down and nails V in the side of the head with a knee, ending the fight with a single point of impact.

Kilminster defeats V via knockout at 29:38 to become the new Heavyweight Champion.
