Lightweight Division Fight
Kayla Knix vs Rex Cassidy

Cassidy fakes as he charges in only to eat a short knee as Knix defends with ease. Back to the center of the circle, Knix drops her opponent with an uppercut as he charges in. Cassidy clings to a leg and tries to drag his opponent to the mat while looking to recover. Cassidy eats dozens of light punches, and the damage is mounting. Cassidy gets to his feet but continues to cling to the single leg despite the punishment, and Knix is nearly thrown out of the circle. Cassidy briefly lifts his opponent, but Knix fights off the takedown attempt. Cassidy drops to his knees and resets for the single leg, but Knix delivers a few shots from above. Cassidy shoots again, and Knix briefly locks in a choke before giving it up and getting back to her feet. Cassidy lands two big right hands and then shoots, but Knix locks in a guillotine and rolls with it. It looks tight, and Cassidy succumbs to the choke almost immediately.

Knix defeats Cassidy via submission at 4:02.

Kai O'Hara vs Bruce "The Highlander" McLeod

McLeod lands a couple quick left jabs before O'Hara answers with a couple low kicks, one that makes McLeod stagger. After resetting, McLeod lands a low kick of his own, and after a collision, O'Hara nails a knee strike that grazes his opponent's groin. McLeod lands a jab, but O'Hara scores underhooks, tries to flip his opponent to the mat, but McLeod quickly escapes to his feet. O'Hara lands another nice low kick. McLeod misses with a right and O'Hara with a left. O'Hara then lands another low kick, and they're starting to do damage. McLeod lands a nice shot to the belly, but the crowd is becoming restless. McLeod ends a stalemate with a low kick but partially eats a left hook. O'Hara unloads a low kick, the only thing really working in this fight. McLeod partially connects on an overhand right. McLeod looks for the takedown, but O'Hara briefly has a guillotine that he gives up and then shoves McLeod off. O'Hara lands another low kick and then dodges another few brawling punches. O'Hara lands another and is then backed up with a punch to the stomach. McLeod follows with a left but misses with a right. McLeod moves in and eats a shot to the midsection before retreating. O'Hara partially connects on a right hand that McLeod shakes off. O'Hara backs McLeod against the edge of the circle and lands another low kick. O'Hara clinches and delivers a couple knees to the body, only to have McLeod retaliate with a low blow that doubles O'Hara over. Capitalizing on the element of surprise, McLeod grapples with O'Hara, and uses his mass to bull-rush O'Hara out of the circle to the floor.

McLeod defeats O'Hara via ring out at 9:47.

Open Weight Fight
V vs Shyla Clemmens

Clemmens explodes in a burst of speed, catching V with underhooks and moves into a Muay Thai clinch. V unloads an uppercut when Clemmens breaks free and then lands a quick right, and Clemmens looks a bit wobbly already. V lands another low kick. Clemmens is breathing hard as V lands another low-kick-uppercut combo. Clemmens trips to the mat, and V backs off before knocking her back down with a kick. Clemmens remains on the mat for an extended time before getting back up as her opponent has no intention of following her down to the mat. V unloads more leg kicks but doesn't seem in a hurry to finish it. He finally starts throwing punches and drops Clemmens with a right. But like before, he backs off and waits for Clemmens to slowly get back to her feet. The crowd boos the game plan, calling for more violence. V answers with more low kicks, jabs and a one-two combo that drops Clemmens. She creates some distance with a jab to the knees, and then kips up, connecting with a low kick before retreating. V remains patient, biding his time. Clemmens throws a jab from distance. V answers with one of his own. Clemmens misses with a front kick, and V continues working his jab. Clemmens remains light on her feet while moving in and out looking for an opening. Clemmens misses with a stiff jab that V barely avoids. Clemmens, though, connects a low kick before retreating again. The fighters clinch, and Clemmens eats a couple shots after failing on the takedown attempt. More dancing until V lands a combo as Clemmens moves in. After resetting, Clemmens moves in again and eats a jab. The fighters trade shots, and after meeting in the center of the cage, Clemmens misses on a body kick before retreating. Clemmens with a low kick before ducking under a left. The fighters meet again, and V shoves her aside, connecting with a back elbow to the face. He palms the head of Clemmens, and drives her face into his knee, scoring the easy win.

V defeats Clemmens via knockout at 8:17.

Shane "Dixie Dynamite" Sanders vs Rachel Ellsworth

Sanders takes the center of the circle as Ellsworth moves around her. Ellsworth lands a left jab and misses on a body kick. Sanders stalks and then throws an effective left-right counter as Ellsworth considers a takedown attempt. The fighters trade jabs, and Sanders lands a very nice elbow strike. Ellsworth looks to stick and move but can't get close to do much. She eats a counter left before resetting. Sanders lands a left and then another thanks to her quick feet. Ellsworth's head kick is checked, but she gets through a right jab that does nothing. Ellsworth with a low kick and then just misses on a right hand that sets up a takedown attempt. Ellsworth then lands a nice body kick when the takedown fails. She lunges with a jab and takes a low kick to the knee instead. Ellsworth moves in and out as little lands. Sanders throws a right jab but takes another low kick to the shin. Ellsworth goes high and just misses with a head kick. Ellsworth moves in with a right hand to the body before retreating. Ellsworth then ducks under a right. Sanders lands jabs from distance as Ellsworth backs away. Ellsworth thinks about a takedown, but Sanders again easily snuffs it out. Ellsworth lands a right to the body, but Sanders shows no ill effects. Sanders counters with a quick right but doesn't have much behind it. The crowd grows a bit restless before Sanders pushes forward with a combo and flying knee that's partially blocked. Ellsworth lands a left, but Sanders counters with a hard right to the face that busts Ellsworth wide open above the eye. Sanders continues to be the aggressor and trades shot for counter shot with the former lightweight champ. Sanders lands a nice left hook to the body that rocks Ellsworth and scores a takedown, getting her hooks in for an anaconda choke.

Sanders defeats Ellsworth via submission at 5:17.

Heavyweight Division Fight
Frank "Blitz" Krieger vs Theodore Janes

Janes lands the first shot 75 seconds in with a front kick to the shin. Janes sticks out his right hand as Krieger slaps it away. Janes lands a big low kick that spins Krieger and then moves slowly in a low crouch with his hands at his side. Krieger remains reserved. Janes now picks up his energy and lands a back kick. Janes lands more low kicks that take a toll. Krieger, though, shakes it off and remains in his fight stance. Janes goes high with a quick kick and then low. Krieger tries to pull guard once the distance is closed, but Janes shakes it off. A flying knee sends Krieger to the mat. Janes stands over him with leg kicks and a kick to the arm. The ref calls for a stand-up and Janes is immediately on the offensive again, throwing front kicks to the shin before landing a big right. Krieger stays at a distance and obviously doesn't want to engage. Janes throws low kicks, drops his hands, stuffs a takedown and nearly scores a soccer kick before Krieger gets back to his feet. Krieger shoots again. Krieger throws jabs, but Janes taunts him between low kicks. Janes waves his opponent in again and then throws a stinging body kick. Krieger shoots and misses again, and Janes allows him up. Krieger tries to rally back, throwing an inside leg kick, followed by a few punches that Janes is able to avoid with ease. Janes dances in and nails a Superman punch, followed by a knee-strike combo to the midsection as Krieger stumbles back, dazed. Janes rolls and grabs Krieger, tossing him out of the circle.

Janes defeats Krieger via ring out at 11:22.

HEADLINE FIGHT

Heavyweight Division Fight MATCH OF THE NIGHT
Christian Cain vs Bull Kegan

Kegan leaps in with two punches, but Cain grabs a clinch and pushes him to the floor. Cain grabs a guillotine on the right side and lies down in half-guard. Kegan throws left hands to the body and eventually passes out to the side. Cain holds the grip a bit longer before finally letting go. Kegan delivers a few shots, then stands and grabs a guillotine of his own. His back is against the cage, so there's no room to torque the hold. Kegan throws knees to the thigh, but the action is restarted in the center when it slows. Two-punch combo for Kegan, and a kick misses high. Kegan throws four punches and a kick, though they're blocked as Cain moves away, only to dance back in with a stunning 1-2 elbow strike combination. Kegan presses the action, but he walks into a right. Kegan pushes in but eats another punch. Cain falls to his back, and Kegan throws elbows and punches from top position.

Kegan presses in, and Cain grabs another guillotine and falls to his back. He can't hold it, and Kegan tries to posture from top. Cain scrambles up before any damage can be done, though he immediately falls to his back looking for the choke again. Kegan again pops up and works from the top. This time he controls Cain better for a moment, but the slippery Cain slides out and returns to his feet. Kegan picks a leg and moves the action back to the floor, then swings around the back for a choke. Cain spins to avoid, but he allows Kegan to mount as if he wants to be in that position. Cain gives up the back to avoid damage from the top, and Kegan grabs the rear-naked choke. It looks deep, but Cain turns it around again. Kegan rolls out for an arm, then a knee. Cain easily avoids both and maintains top position. Cain presses in and passes to mount. He re-adjusts and works into side control. Cain working the arm triangle from side control, but Kegan survives and tries a D'arce briefly underneath before they restart standing.

Flurries from both to open up the next onslaught. Both look a little winded but swinging. Kegan lands a nice right to the body, among other punches, but Cain spins away from the brutal impact and takes Kegan to the floor. Cain pulls half-guard underneath. Kegan stands as Cain tries to slide out, but in a slick roll, Cain takes the back. Kegan spins out and the pair stands. Cain shoots in, but Kegan reverses the action and forces the fight to the floor. Kegan takes mount, then rear mount. Both hooks in. Kegan lands a few elbows to the head. Cain spins and works very hard to pop out the back door. Unfortunately, his head is exposed, and Kegan lands several elbows to the temple. Looking cocky, Kegan turns into Cain and transitions to half-mount, catching a cross-face as he slips out to the side. More elbows from the top before Cain slips away and rolls to his feet. As Kegan is getting up, Cain rockets in and nails a spinning kick to the face. Kegan goes down with blood gushing from his mouth, and Cain follows, driving his knee up under Kegan's chin before locking in that deadly guillotine choke.

Cain defeats Kegan via submission at 13:41.

Lightweight Championship Match
Robbyn Helmsley vs Sinn

Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, the two women in The Circle tonight will fight until only one remains standing for the right to be called the best Lightweight Fighter in The Circuit!!! All bets for this fight are now final. Introducing first... fighting out of the red corner... she is a mixed martial artist, undefeated in the circle with a record of five wins and zero losses, standing at 167 centimeters and weighing in at 69 kilograms. Ladies and gentlemen... ROBBBBBBBBBYN HELLLLLLLLLLMSLEYYYY!!

Robbyn Helmsley makes her way into the circle, looked pumped and ready as she bounces on the balls of her feet.

Announcer: And now... her opponent... fighting out of the blue corner...  a submissionist with a record of fifteen wins, and five losses, standing at 173 centimeters and weighing in at 73kilograms. Ladies and gentlemen... the current Lightweight Champion... SINNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!

The two women collide, trading rapid succession quick shots before Sinn moves out of the way of a right. Sinn moves in with a combo, but Helmsley ducks under it and puts the champ on her back. Sinn pops quickly gets back to her feet, driving Helmsley back with a few kicks to the knees. Helmsley lands the first part of a combo and ducks under a counter. Sinn connects with a nice left jab. Sinn barely blocks a head kick, being forced into a defensive posture by Helmsley's fired up onslaught. Helmsley continues to stick and move and then ducks under a left. Sinn lands a nice low kick that makes Helmsley reset. Helmsley returns one that only partially connects. After a stumble on the edge of the circle that ends in a clinch, Sinn lands a right on the break. Sinn snaps off a quick and effective right hand and then checks a high kick. Helmsley dances back, still light on her feet. Sinn throws a punch, Helmsley ducks and shoots, but Sinn defends on the subsequent two takedown attempts. Helmsley with a left jab that lands. Helmsley lands a beautiful kick-punch combo that finishes with a strong left. Helmsley misses with a right and eats a left that partially lands. The fighters trade more jabs before Sinn checks a body kick. Helmsley fakes a shot and then resets. Sinn with a punch to the body. Helmsley considers a takedown attempt but eats a right and and a left. Helmsley takes Sinn's back but can't do anything as Sinn's elbow catches her in the face.

Helmsley fakes an overhand right and shoots. Sinn sprawls, pulls away and misses a right. Helmsley lands an overhand right, but Sinn fires back an elbow strike to the side of the head. Helmsley is more of a stationary target as she pivots right into a 1-2 combo from Sinn. Helmsley holds the center and misses a haymaker before moving into the clinch. Helmsley looks for a single-leg, but Sinn slips out. Helmsley shoots in, but it's unsuccessful again. Sinn lands a combo as Helmsley covers up and retreats. Wild hooks by both. Helmsley's left cheek is bleeding as the two circle. Helmsley charges in, looking for a single-leg but Sinn opens up and lands another combo. Helmsley backs off and resets. More crosses from Sinn land. Helmsley again unsuccessful on a shoot attempt. Helmsley lands a jab that staggers Sinn, but Sinn fires right back. Sinn lands a combo, but Helmsley fires back and Sinn staggers away.

Despite the damage, Helmsley is still stalking Sinn. She comes in with a 1-2 that staggers Sinn, and just misses a massive right hand. Sinn lands a pair of combos, Sinn again unleashes a flurry that scores, knocking Helmsley down in a daze. Sinn gets a mounted position and starts raining down bombs. The two trade lefts. Jab for Helmsley met with a right from Sinn. Slower pace now, and the two pick their offensive moments. Helmsley's nose is bleeding as she turtles, ducking away from the raining blows. She's covering up well, but the replies are slower now. Helmsley lands a left and wings a big right that misses. Sinn scores with an overhand right, seeming to be the fresher of the two, despite her own exhaustion. Sinn fires in a few weak shots that still do a little damage but it's unclear if she has the power to finish. Helmsley lands a stiff jab that rocks Sinn, giving her space to slip out from under. Helmsley fires back with a left hook, but Sinn answers with a big right hand and a few jabs. Helmsley trying to find a homerun shot, but Sinn avoids well as they stumble back to their feet.

Helmsley scores a takedown, but Sinn immediately up and scampers away. Helmsley's face is a bloodied mess but she still presses forward. A low kick spins Sinn, and Helmsley picks her up and dumps her to the floor. Helmsley postures and lands a few punches from top. Sinn scurries back to her feet and plants a right hand on Helmsley's cheek. Sinn works a jab and lands a low kick. Sinn connects with an uppercut. Helmsley is sucking wind but trying to land something to shift the tide. Helmsley connects with a left to the gut and a nice right hand up top, but she can't move in for the kill. They reset, and Helmsley lands another takedown. Sinn gets a butterfly guard that elevates Helmsley, but the undefeated striker moves into mount. Helmsley waits to catch her breath then starts winging punches from top, leaving Sinn no choice but to roll to avoid. The crowd goes absolutely insane as Helmsley fires off punches, bloodying Sinn's nose in return. Sinn sweeps, and Helmsley looks for an armbar. Sinn escapes, fires a few punches and moves away, only to sweep Helmsley's legs and pounce on her back, locking Helmsley into a cross-face choke. For good measure, Sinn digs her fingers into the cut on Helmsley's face, opening it wider and scoring the submission finish as Helmsley succumbs to the pain and exhaustion.

Sinn defeats Helmsley via submission at 25:01 to remain Lightweight Champion.
