UNDERCARD

Heavyweight Division Fight
John "Mad Dog" Murphy vs Demarcus Jones

Jones puts on a lackluster set of offensive moves, trying to parry back the hungry Murphy. Murphy has been on an absolute tear, decimating every opponent throw his way. It's fairly obvious that his eyes are on the Heavyweight Championship. Four minutes into the match, Murphy lets loose with a knee-buckling kick on Jones.  With almost nothing left in the tank, Jones is desperate, and tries to fire off a quick right hand that Murphy catches with ease, turning it into an arm drag.  Jones slips as he falls, feet tangling with Murphy's legs, and turning the reversal into a botched takedown attempt. Murphy staggers, but doesn't go down, instead twisting the arm that he still has a hold of. The sound of Jones' scream is only rivaled by the bloodlust of the crowd as his arm snaps. The blow sounds throughout the arena, and Jones is unconscious before he even hits the floor.

Murphy defeats Jones via technical knockout at 5:01.

Open Weight Fight
Alexendre Michelle Pierre vs Vladimir Dragunov

While still much smaller than Dragunov, AMP is still in phenomenal shape, managing to keep The Beast at bay while he looks for an opening, moving into a clinch in the first moments of the bout. Dragunov has his way with Pierre pretty quickly, batting him around the ring and having him in trouble. Pierre makes an ill-advised rush and runs straight into Dragunov's formidable punch. AMP is out cold before he hits the floor.

Dragunov defeats Pierre via knockout at 4:01.

Open Weight Fight
Kris Peek vs Luthen

The fight starts off quickly, with newcomer Luthen eager to make his name known in The Circuit. Luthen charges in and grabs hold of Peek's leg, trying to take him down, without any success. Peek retaliates by banging away at Luthen's body.  The combination of being met with failure in his takedown attempts and being struck seems to anger Luthen, who much to the delight of the crowd abandons his latest takedown attempt in favor of kneeing Peek in the head.  Unfortunately for Luthen, Peek blocks the knee, and responds to the strike with his own powerful blows in the form of a flurry of punches. Luthen is rocked by the blows, but refuses to go down, and in fact, when Peek charges in to try and finish him, Luthen counters with a hard punching combo that at least momentarily stymies Peek's charge.  Still, Luthen is not yet fully coherent, perhaps explaining his attempting another takedown that is blocked with little effort. Peek scoops up Luthen, and resorts to wrestling, slamming him down with a sidewalk slam, and then moving into an ankle lock that Luthen is unable to break.

Peek defeats Luthen via submission at 6:15.

Heavyweight Division Fight
Remigio vs Gabriel Chance

Chance, looking to avenge his loss at Unleashed 7, charges in immediately, nearly taking Remigio's head off with a wild uppercut that he follows with a few more well placed punches. Remigio goes down hard and Chance is all over him, looking to lock in a triangle choke that is denied as Remigio gets off a few wild shots that connect as he scrambles away from Chance. The obvious urgency of the situation is apparent as Chance charges in again like a bull, striking with everything he has in the tank. He is met with success, as a kick directed at Remigio's head lands flush. Remigio's rock solid chin keeps him coherent, and when Chance tries another kick, Remigio catches the strike and slams his foe to the mat. Chance clinches from underneath long enough to force a stand-up and reverts back to his pounding damage, connecting with jabs to the face and landing kicks to his legs. Unfortunately for Chance, Remigio essentially erases any chance at an easy victory by charging at Chance with another powerful flurry, staggering his adversary.  Chance, perhaps instinctively, shoots in with another takedown as Remigio bombards him.  Remigio's takedown defense falters when Chance brings a knee up into his groin, staggering him back. Chance hits Remigio with a crescent kick, and as he wobbles and drops to his knees, Chance connects with a running punt to the skull that sends Remigio down hard, busted wide open.

Chance defeats Remigio via knockout at 11:51.

Open Weight Fight
Sinn vs Parker Crosby

Crosby fires off a few weak shots to open the match, forcing Sinn back towards the edge of the circle, almost as though taunting her. Sinn fires back with a solid sucker punch to the face, and Crosby goes down hard, eyes rolling up in his head. Sinn, clearly disgusted with the lack of offense in the match dives in at Crosby, connecting with a knee to the face that busts him wide open. The referee drags her off before she can permanently disfigure Crosby.

Sinn defeats Crosby via knockout at 2:15

HEADLINE FIGHTS

Middleweight Championship Fight
Spiral vs Julien York

This battle of epic proportions was not expected to be slow, and with both men looking to emerge as the Middleweight Champion, it wasn't. Both men skipped the takedown attempts in favor of a striking slugfest. Spiral, however, appears to be the more technical striker, and while York does some damage when he lands, it becomes a more and more one-sided fight, with Spiral clearly dominating. He manages to bloody York more than once, before York valiantly tries to rally back, throwing wild punches, but a throat thrust from Spiral puts an abrupt halt to his offense and has him reeling. Spiral moves in and hooks hold of York's leg, putting him down. Spiral immediately begins to obliterate York's face with a little ground and pound, ending with a huge right cross that knocks York into next week.

Spiral defeats York to remain Middleweight Champion via knockout at 8:47.

Lightweight Division Fight (MATCH OF THE NIGHT)
Bronwen O'Connor vs Kaitlynn "The Bitch" McIntyre

This match is incredible. In the first ten minutes, O'Connor pummels McIntyre and opens up a nasty cut.  Kitty starts the fight out at a fast pace as well, fighting through the blood, quickly closing the distance on Bronwen and letting her hands fly.  O'Connor tries to fight back with blows of her own, but it soon becomes clear that the exchanges are favoring her opponent.  As Kitty presses the action with further punches, O'Connor begins to shoot in for takedowns, growing weary of the slugfest.  She succeeds and pulls guard, bringing McIntyre to the ground.  McIntyre manages to avoid a few of Bronwen's hammerfist punches, but it doesn't last long, taking a few hard blows to the temple.  Bleeding out, she even lands some blows of her own, pulling Bronwen down into a nasty elbow of her own.  She uses the leverage to knock Bronwen off and scrambles backwards getting back to her feet.  The Bitch waits until Bronwen gets back on her feet and shoots forward, looking to end her opponent. Several of Kitty's shots have a chance of finishing Bronwen off, but they're not as strong as they would have been. McIntyre is already losing a lot of blood.

O'Connor lands a lucky punch that knocks Kitty backwards. Immediately she sprawls, looking for a takedown on McIntyre.  She is stopped in her tracks a few times until finally, Bronwen wrestles McIntyre to the mat.  From there, O'Connor takes little time in gaining the mount position and began to rain bombs down on Kitty's bleeding face.  McIntyre tries to duck her head into Bronwen's chest, but O'Conner scissors her legs and forces McIntyre to roll over. Much to her chagrin, Kitty breaks the arm bar attempt and rolls away. A frustrated O'Connor gets back to her feet and shoots forward one last time.

One solid haymaker is thrown and Kitty doesn't even attempt to dodge it, not even seeing it through the blood in her eyes.  Her head snaps to the side and she goes down hard, with Bronwen rushing forward to finish the job until the referee pulls them apart, stopping the match.

O'Connor defeats McIntyre via knockout at 12:23.

MAIN EVENT

Heavyweight Division Fight: Cage Match
Gordon Lochlann vs Tyler Lukas

"Sexy Results" by Death From Above 1979 blares over the sound system as newcomer Tyler Lukas walks toward The Circle, ignoring the cheers and jeers of those with ramp-side seats.  His music fades abruptly, replaced with the sound of Rage Against the Machine's "Sleep Now In the Fire". Gordon Lochlann makes his way out to the ring with singular focus, looking pumped as he stares across at his opponent. As the two men stand across from each other, the announcer steps between them and begins to speak.

Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, the two men in The Cage tonight will fight until only one remains standing!!!!! Introducing first... fighting out of the blue corner... He is a wrestler,  with a record of one draw, standing at 6'5" and weighing in at 245 pounds. Ladies and gentlemen... Tyler... LUKKKKKKKKKKAAAAAAAASSSSSSSS!!!!!

Lukas raises his fists, trying to get the crowd hyped.

Announcer: And now... fighting out of the red corner... He is a street fighter, with a record one win, zero losses and one draw, standing at 6'4" and weighing in at 235 pounds.  Ladies and gentlemen... Gordon.... LOCCCCCCHLANNNNNNNN!!

Lochlann and Lukas exchange a heated glance, and then a knowing smirk quirks Tyler's lips as he beckons for Lochlann to make the first move. Lochlann's lips are skinned back from his teeth in a snarl as he lunges at Lukas, using his momentum to carry him forward, his fist merely grazing Lukas's face as he backs up, moving with impossible quickness. Lukas steps in close to the off-balance opponent, firing a right hook at Lochlann's temple. The blow snaps Lochlann's head around, and his body has little choice but to follow as he crashes down. That smile is still on Lukas's face as he reaches down, grabbing a handful of Lochlann's hair, hauling him roughly to his feet. Without pausing, he fluidly turns, whipping Lochlann at the bare steel cage. Lochlann hits with a resounding SMACK that has the crowd screaming for blood. Lukas charges before Lochlann can recover, pasting him further into the unforgiving metal with a hard cross-body. With that sadistic grin still in place, Lukas hefts Lochlann with ease and literally throws him across the circular cage. Lochlann lands on his knees, and immediately spins around, right into Lukas' charging attempt. Lochlann catches hold of Lukas and turns it into a slam that he follows down, grappling on the canvas. Lukas clinches from underneath and forces Lochlann back up.

Lochlann's chest is heaving as he glares at Lukas, blood still trickling down his face and from his clenched fists. Lukas reaches out to backhand Gordon, but his hand is caught midair. Lochlann shakes his head slowly, wrenching Lukas's arm painfully, spinning him around and nearly breaking the arm as he twists it behind Lukas's back. Roughly, still holding the arm, Lochlann takes Lukas's feet out from beneath him with an efficient legsweep, and Lukas falls, face smashing into the steel of the cage. Lochlann pauses, seeming to consider his next course of action, and then reaches down, roughly seizing Lukas by the waistband of his pants, leaving crimson stains on the white material. He feints throwing Lukas against the metal again, as the crowd screams for more blood. Instead, Lochlann sets Lukas on his feet, and immediately lifts Lukas into the air for a vertical suplex. Amazingly, Lukas slips out of his grasp, managing to get behind Lochlann and hooks him in a sleeper hold. Lukas cannot hook the hold on fully as Lochlann lifts Lukas up into the air for a side suplex, but Lukas shifts his weight to keep that from happening, firing a few shots into Lochlann's ribs. Again Lochlann tries countering the hold by reaching behind him, but Lukas hooks his arms and pulls them back as he releases the sleeper hold. Lukas pulls back sending Lochlann down on the wire again. The wire sags beneath Lochlann's weight as the crowd gets louder. Blood pours anew from Lochlann's back, dropping down to stain the mat below as he slowly drags himself to his feet.

Lukas follows Lochlann's movement, and lands an elbow drop across Lochlann's right knee. He follows with a knee to the face, only to be staggered back as Lochlann punches Lukas in the groin. He charges in, with a few well placed strikes, forcing Lukas back, giving himself the room to move. Lukas stumbles as a kick to the knee makes him falter and when he regains his footing, Lochlann is there. Lochlann manages to finally connect with Lukas, blocking the attempt Lukas makes with an uppercut, and instead firing in one of his own that connects with Lukas's forehead, busting him open.

Lukas takes a step back, staggering slightly, and then he seems to recover, lunging at Lochlann, his hands wrapping tightly around Just Another Bastard's throat as they collide with the steel wall. The referee is quick to move in, warning Lukas to stop the chokehold, breaking the clinch. They stumble back, and immediately clash again. Lukas winds up with a punch, and slams it right into the cage wire. The wire bends, and wraps around his hand, trapping him for the few moments that Lochlann needs to regroup. Gordon fires in with a right jab to the groin, and then a few knees to the midsection before Lukas can get his hand free.

Lochlann backs off as Lukas rips his hand free, dripping blood. The two circle each other again, and Lukas seems to have lost his fire, hesitant to step forward and strike. Lochlann seems to be waiting for Lukas to come at him. Eventually, Lochlann takes the chance and presses the action, shooting in with a takedown he has little problem getting. With surprising quickness, Lochlann passes to the mount position and began to hammer Lukas with elbows and fists. The blows open up another cut on Lukas that has blood flying around with each blow. Lukas tries to break the hold, while Lochlann continues his vicious assault, dropping a barrage of bombs on Lukas that knocks him out long before the referee even has time to stop it.

Lochlann defeats Lukas via knockout at 25:15
