UNLEASHED 47
Zurich, Switzerland

Despite the freezing temperatures, the fights are being held inside a steel cage which is located outside in an open field and broadcast via closed-circuit television to a bunker several miles away.

UNDERCARD

Opening Fight
Karin Logan vs Caleb Houston

Logan shifts side to side, bouncing to keep her body heat up as Houston pushes forward early behind a big overhand, but Logan clinches up and starts firing knees to the body and arms as she shoves Houston into the cage. Houston pulls away, but Logan blasts him with a kick to the face that drops him like a bad habit. Houston hits the deck and Logan drops a knee to the face, busting Houston wide open in the frigid air. Logan is still pounding away, as Houston turtles, and the referee jumps in to call the fight before Houston gets killed.

Logan defeats Houston via technical knockout at 0:58.

Second Fight
Dale McCall vs Austin Davis

Davis lands shots to the body, but McCall fires off a combination and rushes into a front headlock position. Davis falls to his knees and his butt is against the cage. He rises, and McCall drops for a single. He pulls Davis up and drives in. Davis works from a sitting position. Davis underhooks on the right side and tries to turn McCall over, but he can't out-muscle his foe. Davis works to his feet, and a couple short knees are traded inside while McCall continues to push in from the outside. Davis' knees have a little more zip, and he finally circles off the cage. He doesn't stay there long, as McCall reverses. It's a stalemate, and McCall immediately drives in again on the restart. Both create room to strike inside. McCall elevates Davis for a takedown, but doesn't get it. They trade in the center, but McCall lands the best shot with a left hook to the chin, and Davis hits the deck. McCall pounces immediately. Davis tries to defend with his legs, and then rolls to his knees to avoid the heavy punches that are coming. He can't recover, though, and the referee calls a stop to the bout.

McCall defeats Davis via technical knockout at 3:50.

Third Fight
Kathryn Harding vs Sebastian Jungers

Harding misses an early low kick and gets tagged by a deadly Jungers combination. Jungers fires off another flurry, and his hands look to be tenderizing the solid Harding. Jungers presses in against the cage, but Harding spins off and reverses the position. Both jockey for position, but they pull away. Jungers landing punches over the top, but Harding is absorbing the blows without backing down. She's firing back, but can't seem to get rid of Jungers before they move into the clinch again. Harding tries to pull Jungers over her hip, but the German pushes Harding off and lets her hit the floor. Jungers walks away, and they reset on the feet. Quick clinch again, and Harding is driving Jungers against the cage. Harding drops for a single leg, but Jungers remains upright. Pace stalling a bit as the two work for position in the clinch against the cage. Harding fires a low kick, but it's Jungers connecting upstairs.

More traded punches bust both competitors wide open as they pummel each other, but Jungers continues to be first to the chin. Harding shows no signs of being affected, but she's definitely getting tagged. Low kick from Jungers. Harding tries to shoot on the kick, but she comes up short. Jungers pushes into the clinch. Harding secures a bodylock, but she can't score any type of takedown. Harding drops for a single, but it's not there. Jungers spins free and moves to the back. Harding turns in, and more punches from Jungers find the mark before a left high kick cracks the chin. Harding hits the deck. Jungers rushes with a few more punches, and that's the fight with a highlight-reel finish as Harding is out cold.

Jungers defeats Harding via knockout at 7:11.

Fourth Fight
Sasha Brenshov vs Oliver Queen

Brenshov moves in, but Queen shucks her away. Brenshov dives in again from distance and scores a takedown. She sets up in half-mount and drives a few shoulder strikes in, pushing Queen back against the cold metal of the cage. Queen spins to his knees and back to his feet. Both fighters flurry, but nothing major lands. Brenshov dives in from distance again, but she comes up short against Queen's reach. Still, she kicks to the body as he pulls away. Queen lets his hands go a little more, but Brenshov covers up. Brenshov scores another takedown, though Queen's again back to his feet in rapid fashion. Brenshov starts to punch, and Queen retreats and defends. With Queen's hands high, Brenshov just ducks under and dumps him to the ground. Queen works back to his feet without absorbing any real damage. Low kick from Brenshov and yet another takedown. Half-mount again and there's a few short punches. Queen doesn't scramble up quite as quick this time, and the fight ends there as Brenshov uses the cage as leVge and nails Queen in the face with a roundhouse kick. 

Brenshov defeats Queen via knockout at 3:00.

Fifth Fight MATCH OF THE NIGHT
Blackbird vs Sinn

Blackbird opens up the bout firing heavy hands, but he's a little short as Sinn dances away, almost as if she's taunting him as she waves him in. Blackbird resets and shoots again, but Sinn is game in defense. Sinn moving her head, looking for an opening, but Blackbird catches her with a straight. Blackbird finally ducks under and gets the takedown he's been looking for. Sinn works from guard, looking for a straight armbar on Blackbird's right arm, knowing that submission is her best bet against the powerful strikes. Blackbird pulls it free and stands over Sinn. Blackbird kicks the legs once, but Sinn scrambles up to her feet and right into another big one-two from Blackbird that drops her back down.

Blackbird pounces to finish, but Sinn seems to have recovered well. Sinn tries to secure a leg as Blackbird stands over her, but the striker backs away and resets. Blackbird shakes his arms out as Sinn tries to move in. Sinn's nose is bleeding, but she's still punching in the pocket. Blackbird lands a few more right hands and tries to shoot, but Sinn keeps her balance and backs up to the cage. Knee lands for Sinn, and Blackbird pushes in against the cage. There's a bit of a stall, but they break without assistance. Sinn covers up as Blackbird moves forward with punches. Sinn sprawls and Blackbird goes to a knee before moving away, clearly wary of Sinn's grapple attempts. Sinn lurches to her feet, still kicking, but Blackbird ducks under a punch and scores a driving takedown. Sinn's face smashes against the cage, busting her open above her left eyebrow, but it's not bleeding yet. Blackbird shoots in for a takedown, but Sinn sprawls well and controls the head. She drops back for a guillotine choke, but Blackbird jumps out of the hold and takes top position. Blackbird controls from half-mount, through Sinn is able to regain guard. Sinn looks for a few short elbows from the bottom, but Blackbird keeps his head tight to the chest. Not a lot of action, but Blackbird eventually stands and tries to pass back into half-mount. Sinn feels it and defends, but she's clearly flagging now. He finally scrambles back up and resets on the feet. Sinn pushes forward with her boxing and lands a left hand to the body. She's tiring and bleeding, but she's not giving up. Blackbird shoots in again and scores the takedown. A couple of big punches come from the top. Sinn scrambling on bottom and looking for anything she can land. Blackbird postures and delivers a few crushing punches before Sinn tries to scramble. Blackbird gets her back and smashes her face into the cold ground, forcing the referee to intervene and stop the fight.

Blackbird defeats Sinn via technical knockout at 15:17.

HEADLINE FIGHT MATCH OF THE NIGHT II
V vs Theodore Janes

Janes leaps in with a left and they clinch. V tries to answer with knees. Not much there, and they break. V with a few snapping low kicks. Janes again pushes into a clinch. V circles off, but Janes returns the favor as he scores a takedown with a single-leg. Half-mount for Janes. Not much happening from the position. Janes only postured on spots, and V not really looking to sweep. V works his left leg into a butterfly position. Janes finally passes and goes all the way around to side control on the opposite side. Short right hands from Janes. Not much of an escape plan from V as he can't seem to get any leverage pressed against the cold ground. Janes just smothering from the top and firing an occasional punch. Janes tries to step over to mount. Double hammerfist from Janes, and he drops back for a leg. Nothing there, but he still winds up in top position on the scramble. They stall and V finally slips out, staggering up and right into the face of Janes.

Janes lunges forward, but V is there to meet him with a flurry of punches and kicks. Janes fires back as well in a true to-to-toe slugfest. They settle into a clinch. Trip from Janes, and V pulls guard. Hammerfists from the top from Janes. V has a closed guard. Horizontal elbows from V connect but Janes presses in despite the blood flowing from his split lips. He stands to pass and he eventually gets to half-mount. The action stalls again as both men are growing sluggish. Janes drives a few elbows to the thigh and then fires left hands to the face. V stalled on the bottom and Janes is holding top position. He does rattle off a few quick punches from the top, but V sucks them up and refuses to move.

Janes kicks to the body. V answers and Janes falls. V taunts him before he gets back up. V kicks high, but Janes blocks it and pushes into the clinch. Janes moves to the back and works V to the ground. Janes steps over with the leg for one hook. V gets a knee. Janes delivers a few left hands to the head, but the action is very light. More left hands from Janes rain down before he wraps his arms around V's legs and tries to pull him all the way down. V stays on a knee and eventually works to his feet with two minutes left. He moves immediately back down. Janes turns to slapping V, who is just huddled against the cage. Janes pats his back, and V fires up an elbow. Janes throws more punches. V's doing absolutely nothing. Janes works for a choke and throws more punches, and V crumbles to the ground in a spray of blood. The referee intervenes before Janes can do more damage and V rises to reveal a badly broken nose.

Janes defeats V via technical knockout at 18:03.


MAIN EVENT

Circuit Championship Fight
Jackson vs Mark Chapman

They meet in the center, and Jackson pops a few jabs. Jackson with an early takedown, but Chapman stands up against the cage. Jackson working a jab and a low kick early. Chapman yet to really offer a return. Jackson lands stiff right and follows immediately with a jab, nearly busting Chapman's cheekbone open. Jackson shoots again, but Chapman resists and stays on his feet. Low kick from Jackson, then a Superman that's just short. Chapman stays in a low stance, but he's yet to really attack. Another stiff jab connects from Jackson. Chapman defends another takedown. Chapman misses a 1-2. Jackson lands a right, then pops two jabs that Chapman ducks with ease. Jackson has a high kick blocked, but it's obvious he's feeling comfortable. Chapman slips a left and misses on a counter. Jackson's jab continues to find a home. Chapman shoots in, but he telegraphed it. He does again, and Jackson defends against the cage as the metal tears into his back. Chapman drops low and continues to drive in, but Jackson remains upright. Chapman finally elevates Jackson and slams him to the ground, but there's little time to work as Jackson rolls aside, thwarting Chapman's attempt to mudhole stomp him.

Chapman's right eye is already busted up badly and closing. Jackson has an easy target. Superman lands. Jackson continues to work the low kick and the jab. Chapman just misses the right hand counter. Chapman knows he needs to press in and keep out of range of those bombs Jackson keeps throwing. Jackson's remaining patient on the outside and picking his spots. Outside leg kick from Jackson connects and sends Chapman staggering back into the cage. Jackson spears him against the metal, and repays the favor as the metal rips through Chapman's flesh. There's no way Chapman can see out of that eye and Jackson keeps dodging to that side, throwing his bombs at Chapman's head. Dodging, Chapman continues to move in and does land a right hand. Jackson fires in another combo and then backs off, shaking out his arms. It's clear that the cold is affecting both men as they circle. Chapman's trying desperately to land that big right, but Jackson is moving away with ease. Chapman looks for a takedown, but it's not there. Jackson is picking Chapman apart on the feet. Chapman does get his brief brawl in the pocket, but Jackson gets the best again. Chapman whiffs on a big uppercut, but he's not backing down. Jackson continues to pump the jab. Jackson switches stances and leaps in with  another brutal uppercut that puts Chapman on his back.

Chapman scrambles up and then latches on Jackson's leg as he looks to go for some type of submission. Jackson wiggles free and presses Chapman into the cage as they return to their feet. Stall against the cage and Chapman's still winging that overhand right. One does graze off the side of the head but Jackson shakes it off. Jackson continues to move in though, and Chapman slips briefly to the canvas after an exchange. Jackson still chopping the legs. Jackson with a snapping lead hook. There's no way Chapman can see that coming. Jackson patient on the outside. Two jabs lands. Right hand. Low kick. Chapman is being torn apart. Chapman trying to stay light. Chapman's still searching for that right hand. Jackson continues to pick him apart with the jab. Jackson changing levels, teasing the takedown. Instead, it's more jabs and low kicks. Chapman's chances are slipping away by the second, and Jackson continues to outland him on his feet, seeming oblivious to the cold that has Chapman's skin turning red. Chapman backing up to the cage and keeping his right hand high. Jackson moves into the clinch. Chapman looking for anything against the cage. Instead, he's dropped to the ground. He pops up, and Jackson dumps him again. Chapman scrambles right back up, staying true to never say die attitude. Nevertheless, he has no place to go. Jackson stays right against the cage. He backs away and Chapman misses a spinning kick. Jackson nails him in the face with a one-two combination that puts him out like a light on the cold ground as snow begins to fall.

Jackson defeats Chapman via knockout at 21:13 to remain Circuit Champion.
