UNDERCARD

Opening Fight
Sebastian Jungers vs Mark Chapman

Chapman opens with an outside leg kick, feeling out the newcomer. He throws it again and follows it with a short punch. Jungers has the center, and he rushes forward with a palm strike to the jaw. Chapman staggers back, and Jungers bell claps Chapman's ears, disrupting his equilibrium before nailing a kick to the head. Chapman falls but nails a kick to the knee that drives Jungers back to regroup. Chapman staggers up, shaking off the cobwebs and nails an outside low kick, followed by a stiff right hand. Jungers looks relaxed, but he hasn't found range yet. Chapman misses a wild Superman punch, giving Jungers the space to land a left palm strike to the throat. Chapman falters, but still has the presence of mine to land a low blow. Jungers doesn't even falter as he charges forward with a punch to restart, but Chapman grabs a Thai clinch and delivers a knee. Chapman's halfway in and dancing around, but he's near the circle's edge, and Jungers moves in to clinch. Chapman circles off and pushes in. Jungers throws another unconventional overhand palm strike, but Chapman ducks under it, controls the head and delivers several knees to the face, busting Jungers open. He lets go and lands a high kick. Jungers motions toward his chin as if he enjoys the punishment. Inside leg kick for Chapman, and a right hand lands, too. Jungers again points to the chin, and smashes his fists into Chapman's face in quick succession as Chapman whiffs on an elbow strike. Chapman pushes into the clinch again, looking for a takedown but Jungers stuffs his attempt, leaving Chapman no choice as he pulls away and starts winging punches. Six land, then two more. Jungers covering against the edge, but he's absorbing damage. Jungers throws the front kicks in a defensive attack. He lands a jab, and this time Chapman taunts him. Jungers slips on a front kick, dodging back to regroup, but Chapman won't let him. Jungers retreats to the circle's edge, and Chapman delivers a few knees to the body as they grapple. Jungers is done, but he tries to cover up. Chapman unleashes a flurry of shots to the head, body and arms. Jungers tries to defend, but it's not enough. The referee calls it off, and Jungers slumps to the floor.

Chapman defeats Jungers via technical knockout at 7:07.

Second Fight
Teresa Quaranta vs Shane "Dixie Dynamite" Sanders

Quaranta jabs early as Sanders keeps her distance. Sanders leaps in with a punch, but Quaranta rolls her to the floor. Sanders immediately ties her opponent up in an inside cradle. Quaranta tries to pulls away and nearly moves into an omoplata. Quaranta pulls free again and stumbles back to her feet but it's not for long. Sanders immediately falls to her back. Quaranta stays in very tight this time. Sanders again works the leg up the back. Quaranta feels it and pulls away. Sanders drives a few closed fists into the knee, attacking the leg. Quaranta manages to works free, but is still on the floor. Sanders again attacking with her legs high. Quaranta pulls away and asks for Sanders to stand. Sanders lands a spinning back kick and falls off-balance, grabbing Quaranta's left leg as she hits the deck. Quaranta tries to stack her up, but she falls back and has to spin. Quaranta gets her leg free and pulls away. Back on their feet, Sanders fires a Superman punch and dives at the leg. She can't get the takedown, but she takes guard. Quaranta stays in tight, biding her time as she looks for an opening. Her hands are on the mat. Sanders again works the legs high and this time she has the triangle choke locked in, and she's got an armbar to boot. Quaranta's writhing as she tries to wiggle free, but Dixie Dynamite's legs are strong. She lets go of the arm, but the triangle is deep and Quaranta is forced to tap.

Sanders defeats Quaranta via submission at 5:02.

Third Fight
Alisyn Stormsong vs Sasha Brenshov

Stormsong kicks low, and Brenshov returns kicks to the body, almost snarling at her opponent. Brenshov gets caught with a throat thrust, but she sidesteps.  Stormsong stumbles on a low kick, growing too cocky in the early moments of the fight. Brenshov tries to capitalize, but Stormsong lands a stiff right hand before she can get a shot in. She gives chase with more strikes, and Brenshov hits the deck, still alert and defending well as she turtles. She tries to move out to the side, but Stormsong keeps on her on the right side and delivers several powerful lefts. Brenshov is forced to fall to her back but immediately moves up to her knees and then to her feet. Stormsong does, too, and she lands a few more short punches to the chin, bloodying Brenshov's mouth in the process. The two move into a clinch for a few seconds, but it's clear that Brenshov wants nothing to do with being that close to her adversary. As she pulls away, Stormsong drops Brenshov with another right. A few punches follow, and Brenshov scrambles to her feet and away. As Stormsong turns, Brenshov explodes up from the floor and attacks with a flurry of her own, shifting the fight's one-sided momentum. Some land, but Stormsong is answering right back. Stormsong pushes Brenshov to the ground and sets up in side control. Stormsong fires off a few big punches from the top though most are grazing or miss as Brenshov squirms. It's clear that Stormsong is still controlling the action. After a long clinch, the referee breaks the two apart, and forces them to resume standing.

Stormsong takes the center right off, but Brenshov fires in and lands a nice straight punch, looking for a 1-2. The first connects but Stormsong ducks under the second, wraps up the body and slams Brenshov to the floor. Stormsong's firmly in side control, and she delivers a few shoulder strikes before playfully slapping Brenshov across the face. Brenshov is trying to work up as she rolls on her side. Stormsong steps over with her left leg and traps Brenshov's head. She continues the move and spins all the way into mount. Brenshov rolls, and Stormsong takes the back. The choke comes in, but it's not there as Brenshov resists, still trying to break free. Stormsong works a few more punches instead, targeting her opponent's head. Brenshov is forced to move or have her skull caved in, and Stormsong returns to the choke. Brenshov survives the choke again, but her opponent returns to the striking attack, crushing her opponent's nose. Blood is flowing from Brenshov's face, and the punches have to hurt. Stormsong locks in the choke yet again. This time it's very secure, and Brenshov must tap.

Stormsong defeats Brenshov via submission at 11:01

HEADLINE FIGHTS

Match of the Night
Kaitlynn McIntyre vs V

V starts with his hands by his side, looking slightly fatigued and much leaner than the last time he fought in the circle. McIntyre circles, looking wary as she feints, and V just stands there, looking right through her. McIntyre charges in with a snapping front kick that spurs V into action, sidestepping away from the point of impact. McIntyre in the center, and V is moving side to side. V bullrushes in and secures a bodylock as he pushes McIntyre to the edge of the circle. Battle on the edge, and V gets the trip, riding McIntyre to the floor and favoring his taped up hand as he punches with the other. He's in half-mount, but McIntyre secures a grip on his other arm, digging her fingers into the meat between the thumb and fingers, drawing a growl of pain from between V's lips. He pulls away, kicking her off and catching her beneath the chin with his heel. McIntyre falls back, spitting blood but she still has the presence of mind to land a nice upkick before V fires back in with punch. McIntyre has full guard on the bottom but V breaks off and stands. He delivers a few kicks to the legs and then runs around the legs before dropping to side control. He steps over into mount with ease. V slides off into side control, drilling McIntyre in the face with a few vicious punches. He moves into north-south, but they scramble and McIntyre regains guard. V stands again and McIntyre slips back into her only defense, firing upkicks. V pushes in again and takes half-mount, then mount, but nothing comes of the long clinch. The referee forces them apart.

McIntyre fires in with a low kick. Front kick lands, too, but she retreats. V telegraphs another shot, and this time McIntyre is ready. V moves into the clinch anyway and drives McIntyre back to the circle's edge. McIntyre spins off, connecting with a desperate back elbow. V teases a Thai clinch but then drops for the bodylock that leads to another stalemate. McIntyre looks exhausted as she rolls away. V backs away and then moves in with a stiff left hand that snaps McIntyre's head back.V maintains the bodylock and pulls McIntyre off the edge and trips her down to the floor. McIntyre again in full guard, and she looks to secure the arm again, looking to exploit the weakness. V pulls it free and presses down. McIntyre's head is over the edge of the circle, and V locks a forearm against her neck, choking her against the edge. V tries to step over the legs into a better position and finally stands after a scramble. V looks to jump in, but he slips and has to just fall into guard. McIntyre controls the arms on the floor with overhooks, but the crowd is screaming for violence. McIntyre tries to roll, but the fight ends up back in a familiar position with V in half-mount.

A few shots are traded outside, but we're quickly back into the clinch. McIntyre on the outside at first, but V ties up the body and spins off. The trip works again, and V takes the top. McIntyre trying to tie up underneath and again she's thwarted when V stands again. McIntyre works to control a leg as her opponent pulls away, but ahe simply can't hang on. V spins back in and sets up on top in half-mount. V's not winning any fans, but he's winning the fight. V steps into side control. McIntyre regains butterfly guard and tries to elevate V off, but it doesn't happen. V pops up for a few punches to the head, but there's just not much in the way of action. As predicted, McIntyre gets off her back and pushes the action, despite her damage. Outside leg kick for V. Inside leg kick scores, high kick blocked. V continues to work the kicks as McIntyre stalks. McIntyre kicks low, and a follow-up high kick is blocked. Inside leg kick from V. McIntyre comes up short on a high kick. McIntyre lands a left, but V fires two punches right back that stagger her. V connects with a spinning backfist, and puts McIntyre on her back again. This time she has trouble getting up. V kicks her in the body, causing her to turtle up before he drops down atop her. He drops a few one-handed bombs, following with a few more elbows before the referee pulls him off, revealing that it was the first shot on the canvas that put her out cold. Before V's hand can be raised in victory, he drops the referee with a leaping knee, rolling out of the circle and promptly attacking one of the fight-side handlers, pummelling him in frenzy before several of Christian Cain's men are forced to subdue him.

V defeats McIntyre via knockout at 12:33.

MAIN EVENT

Circuit Championship Fight
Christian Cain vs Theodore Janes

Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, the two fighters in the circle tonight will fight until only one remains standing for the right to be called the Circuit Champion!! All bets for this fight are now final. Introducing first... he stands 188 centimeters and weighs 102 kilograms, with a record of five wins, two losses and one draw. Ladies and gentlemen... CHRISTIAN CAINNNNNNNNN!!!

Cain looks almost smug as he makes his way into the fight circle, staring into the gloom where the champion will be arriving from.

Announcer: And now... the  champion, standing at 185 centimeters and weighing in at 102 kilograms... with a record of six wins, three losses and one draw... THEODORE JANESSSSSSSSS!!

Janes lands an early left, though he misses several more bombs. Cain dances away, trying to fire back as well, but Janes looks much quicker. Cain moves into the clinch, but Janes trips him to the floor. Cain comes back with a butterfly guard. Janes steps to the right into half-mount. Three big right hands come from the top and Janes is patient as he pulls away and delivers a few elbows. Cain looks to work his legs high, but Janes pulls free and fires off some big strikes and punches. Cain throws a few kicks to the kidney. Janes postures up and misses a homerun shot that rocks the canvas. Cain tries to spin as Janes postures again, but the champion takes the back. He gets the hooks in, though he's a little off-center. He slides off the top, and we reset on the feet with two minutes left. Janes lands a 1-2 combo but misses a high kick, though a knee and a right hand score. Cain's face is reddened as they break apart again. Janes is throwing bombs, looking for a quick finish to the fight. Cain lands a shot of his own, and the dominant Janes staggers but regains his wits and shoots in. He may be a little damaged, but Cain hits the deck. Janes is in half-mount. Cain delivers a few knees to the body from underneath and then tries to attack the left leg, but Janes feels it and pulls free. Janes works to his feet and they break apart yet again.

Cain regroups, staying out of the champion's reach as he dances aside. Cain comes back in with a low kick and then connects with a straight left. Janes fires back with a massive right. Cain spins around, and Janes jumps his back. Cain shakes him off and to the deck. Janes pops back up and Cain is starting to land more shots. Janes is showing little head movement, and he's getting tagged. Cain's finding a home for the jab now, but the champion just walks through them and gets another takedown. Janes isn't real busy on top. When he postures, Cain tries to punch up, but he can't reach his opponent's head. Janes lands a few soft punches, but he's not doing much damage so the referee stands them up again. A high kick lands flush from Janes but Cain answers right back with another solid left. Janes is still just standing there. Cain moves in with a flurry that Janes eats, pushing forward as he puts his opponent on the floor. This time it's Cain that's staying busier on the bottom. Janes stands, and Cain tries to kick him away, but the champion falls back in. Another quick restart from the referee as the action stalls out, but Janes is literally laying on his foe on the floor. A right hand connects for Cain, busting Janes open above the eye. Janes again scores with an outside trip. It's money every time, but he does nothing with it once there because Cain stuffs every attempt for leverage. Cain throws short punches underneath. He tries to sweep but Janes resists.

Janes answers with a jab, but Cain tees off with a combo. Cain lands a stiff set of elbow and knee strikes, driving Janes back. Janes shoots in, and Cain finally sprawls. He locks in a guillotine on the right side. Amazingly, Janes tries for the trip anyway. Cain defends it and pushes down to top position. Cain looks momentarily for a keylock that isn't there. He settles for control and then goes for a straight armbar on the other side. Janes works free, but he turtles up. Cain takes the back and sinks in a rear-naked choke. It's in tight, and the champion can't break out so he taps. The crowd goes absolutely nuts as Janes kneels on the floor with obvious disappointment.

Cain defeats Janes via submission at 17:01 to become the new Circuit Champion.
